I lived at the International Inn hostel, off Hardman St., in August 05.

And after living there for a week or two, I decided to try to get a job.

They had a message-board, on the wall, at the Inn.

And there I found a note, advertising, for the Reed agency.

And they gave me a couple of files, with jobs, to send applications for.

Which I wrote at the internet-cafe at the Inn.

Then, the next week, they sent me to the job-center in Kensington, for a type of Asda job.

With training included.

For a normal Asda job.

I had been working in different food-shops in Norway for 15 years, and in management for 10 years, and the Asda-course, was for people who were long term unemployed etc.

And I had an apointment, for an interview, at Arvato, the same day I was at Kensington Jobcentre.

But I’m not sure if it’s a bit strange, that Reed sent me to Randstad, who sent me to Arvato.

But I’m not so into agency-stuff.

So it could be that this is quite common to do, for all that I know.

But it can maybe seem a bit strange.

But I needed a job, and I wasn’t used to the agency-stuff, so I must admit that I didn’t ask.

So I’ll have to try to remember to ask next time then I guess.
