Hi,this I look at as harassment.I think you should have a word with this teacher, who sends me e-mails even if I've told him, that it's with the Pricipal.
And he must have some kind of hidden agenda, or emotions, against me, I think, maybe he don't like Norwegians?I think this must be racist against Norwegians!I hope you can sort this out!Yours sincerely,Erik Ribsskog———- Forwarded message ———-

To: Erik Ribsskog <eribsskog@gmail.com>Erik,
There is no secret agenda. If you want to do the course I will try and put something in place. I've changed my arguments because you appear strongly to want to do it now. So I offered to try and do that. Sorry if this was unclear.
I trust you will receive a satisfactory answer from the Principle.

Hi,
this is just dum!Now you're changing your arguments, (from feed-back from last year, as the
excuse, to to few applicants), this indicates that you have a secret agenda
in this.
I've sent this to the principal, so I won't be answering you any more about
this, until I hear from the Principal.
Sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Hi,
this is just dum!
This a skill that companies demand now, and in May or October next year, it
will be in less demand.
This is a course that you have been advertising, on your website, for
months, and people have adapted to that, and haven't planned for, that you
would start changing the courses, in late August, two or three months after
the course has been offered.
If you don't understand how dum this is, then I don't think you are the
right person in your job.
Ok, I'm just dissapointed that you can operate like this, when people have
planned to take this course for months.
How can you say that trying to arrange the course is the best you can do,
when you have had the course on the website for months.
That's something that the College should plan ahead for, and not change,
after having offering the course, on your website for months.
That's very amatourism, nothing more, nothing less.
I think the only thing you can do is to arrange the course, like a normal
course, since you advertised it for months.
You also get founds from the EU, I saw, who Norway pays billions to each
year, so it's not like I'm exploiting you, since I'm from Norway, or
anything.
I just want to find a job, and then I need this course!
Sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Hi,I was wondering if you have any comments on that your college is being run in an amatourish way, like this?Yours sincerely,Erik Ribsskog

You also get founds from the EU, I saw, who Norway pays billions to each year, so it's not like I'm exploiting you, since I'm from Norway, or anything.I just want to find a job, and then I need this course!Sincerely,Erik RibsskogOn Fri, Aug 28, 2009 at 8:26 PM, Griffiths, Ian <Ian.Griffiths@liv-coll.ac.uk> wrote:Erik,
In defence of the changes, a number of applicants have opted to take up the additional study so that when they complete the final course, they go there prepared in the best way.
The changes are not done on a whim, we took feedback from previous students and considered it before making the restructures.
We also are bound by the wishes of our applicants. I appreciate that you have planned to do this but there was never any guarantee that it would go ahead, they all run subject to numbers and if there were not enough people for the course, it would not go ahead anyway.
This is not my decision, nor an amateur way to run a course. We can only do what the applicants want us to do. I would like to be able to plan, but without students wanting the same thing, there is no course ever. Or there is one but it is very expensive.
If you want to do the course in October then I will make efforts to run one, even if the numbers are small. This is the best I can do.

Hi,
I just think it's dum that you offer a course on your website, for months,
that I have planning to take, sine June.
And now you change it in August, and you haven't even updated your website.
I sat at Working Links more than two months ago, I think, and we searched on
PHP-courses.
And it was maybe 14 hits.
So if you wanted the change the course based on feedback from last-year, why
did advertise the un-change course.
Stupid behaviour like this, causes problems for people who want to plan
ahead.
A Norwegian college wouldn't operate like this, so I'm disapointed that this
happens in the UK.
I think this changing that you've started with today is just dum, and very
like amatours would have done..

You can do just that course if you wish – there is no requirement to study the extra courses. But this will be in May, after the other courses have happened.
If you wish to start the Web Database course now then this is possible for October as advertised but only if there are enough students to form a group. If this is what you want then I'm very happy to try and make this happen but in order to keep the price at £98, we need 14 applicants.

I read about this course on your website, in June, I think, and also again

And says clearly that it's an interduction-course, in these subjects.
This is ridiculus!
How can you change the courses all of a suddent, when it's been on your
website for months?
This must be the dummest thing I ever heard, and from a British college, who
are supposed to be among the best in the world, one think in Norway.
This must be a joke surely.
Sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

The Dreamweaver course is also there for those people who wish to improve their design skills.
You can choose any of the courses on offer. It may help to combine them but if you don't need them or the budget doesn't extend to them then just taking a single one would also be possible.
The changes are still in progress. I will email you the completed structure when it is completed.
If you need to check anything further, let me know.

Subject: Course in Web Database Integration (PHP/MySQL)
Hi,
I've applied to this course on Liverpool Community College, some weeks ago,
since I want to update my knowledge, from four years at university-colleges,
in Norway.
I got a strange phone-call today, telling me that I should rather take the
Dreamweaver-course, since this course, was in the way, that it was SQL in
october, PHP in january and Database Integration, in May.
But this isn't what it says, on your website, there it says that this course
is an introduction to all these things, SQL, PHP and Database Integration.
So I guess this call must have been from some 'mob', since I'm from Norway.
Could you please confirm that the course is an all-in-one course, and not
like the way I was told in the 'funny' phone-call today.
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Før jeg sendte de siste e-postene, så lå jeg egentlig og sov. Men noen ringte, som sa de var fra Liverpool Community College. Jeg tror det var ‘mob’
http://www.liv-coll.ac.uk/CourseInformation/Course.aspx?AreaID=26&ID=2097
PS.
Men men.
Jeg får sende de en e-post selv.
Vi får se.
Mvh.
