We understand that everyone has different levels of sensitivity towards content, and that you may feel uncomfortable with the posted content. However, Twitter provides a communication platform, and users may use our service to discuss controversial subject matter.
Here are some quick tips to help you with your situation:

    * Block the user. You can block the user using the blocking feature described here: https://support.twitter.com/entries/117063
    * Learn more about how to deal with abusive users: https://support.twitter.com/articles/15794
If you believe the content or behavior you are reporting is prohibited in your local jurisdiction, please contact your local authorities so they can accurately assess the content or behavior for possible violations of local law. I’ve been sending you numerous harassment and impersonation-reports lately.
So it seems this is organised.
Further description of problem: This seems to be an earlier college from Norway who owes me money.
    He writes lies about me.
In the first Tweet he writes I’m braindead and shouldn’t be trusted and have ran from mental-hospital in Norway.
This isn’t true, I’ve never been to mental hospital, and I haven’t been in Norway for eight years.
In the Second Tweet he writes that I used to sit in the office and play with myself at work.

This isn’t true, it was a college of mine, (Kjetil Prestegarden and the earlier manager there Kenneth), who did this.
David Hjort only worked at Rimi Kalbakken a few times, so he must have mixed it up.

    Hi,

just to start, this nick means cow-dick-Ribsskog.

What type of society does Twitter want?

    This person calls me cow-dick.

And you I’m the problem here, since I’m being insensitive.

    And a cow don’t have a dick, but a vagina, I guess.
So this is very strange, from Twitter, I think.

It’s like Twitter are based in the old Soviet Union then I think.

If you don’t react on stuff like this.

The person is also calling me a ‘drewling vegetable’, and other very inpolite things.

Do Twitter have your feet on the ground, so to speak?

Do you have language-experts who can help you when the insults are in languages like Norwegian?

Or do you think it’s not important, since it isn’t written in English?

    Just wondering.

    Hi,

    you say I’m insensitive.
But this person threatens with making soup of me.

    So it’s a death-threath.
    I don’t think people should tolerate death-threats.

Here Twitter is ‘far out’, I think.

GigiMessina, Dec 05 03:57 pm (PST): Hello,
We understand that everyone has different levels of sensitivity towards content, and that you may feel uncomfortable with the posted content. However, Twitter provides a communication platform, and users may use our service to discuss controversial subject matter.
Here are some quick tips to help you with your situation:
    * Do not respond to the user. We have found overwhelmingly that responding to a user who is intentionally attempting to aggravate you encourages that user to continue their behavior.
If Twitter is contacted directly by law enforcement, we can work with them and provide assistance for their investigation as well as guidance around possible approaches. You can point local law enforcement to our Law Enforcement Guidelines here: https://support.twitter.com/articles/41949.
If you’re concerned for your physical safety, please contact your local authorities for further assistance. Please let us know if you believe the behavior has escalated or otherwise violates our rules.

    Hi,

I also wanted to report this Twitter-user:

    Lage Suppe av Ribba
    @LageRibbeSuppe FOLLOWS YOU

The ‘name’ and Twitter-nick means ‘make soup of Ribba’.
And ‘Ribba’ is a decending nick that someone at a Norwegian message-board
named ‘Spillegal’, have put on me.
I wanted to report this as very offensive, because it’s an appeal for
    someone to kill me.
I’ve sent you very many compaints lately, for harassment, threats and
    impersonation.
So I think this is something organised.
So perhaps you could make an exeptsion from your policy of not informing
    about who these criminals are.
    Regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

johncons, Nov 13 11:41 am (PST): How can we help?: Offensive content
    Reported user: @BaronRisperdal
    Offensive Tweet: https://twitter.com/BaronRisperdal/status/268317752102641664
Text of Tweet: This guy called @johncons is going bananas as usual, I think, because I read, that I’m Baron Adeler now. So that’s how that is.
Tweet time: Nov 13 2012 11:41:51 via web
What are you reporting?: This user keeps sending me @replies and I don’t want to receive them.
    Blocked user(s): Yes
How long ago did this begin?: 24 hours ago
How many times has this happened?: Once, (but the account is new and seems dedicated to attacking me).
I’ve sent you numerous reports about offensive behaviour and impersonation in the last days.
This seems like an organised attack.
Further description of problem: The user says I’m ‘going bananas as usual’.
He also says he’s Baron Adeler, but that’s a title I have a claim for, since my mother inherited a ring from the last baron Adeler, (like I’ve publised a book about etc: ISBN: 978-1477672112).
The user also calls himselves ‘Baron Risperdal’ which is a way of insinuating that I’ve got a perscription on, (but didn’t use), the medicine Risperdal when I lived in Norway, eight years ago, from a psychologist which I’ve complained about, to the psychology assosiation, (Norsk Psykologforening), in Norway.

    Hi,

this is a person I have no idea who is.

And he asks me about some ‘non-mainstream stuff’, which I have no idea what is.

This I think is very inpolite.

    Hi,

this report contains a death-theat, (the person wonders if I want to be boiled in a cooking pot).
Still you at Twitter don’t think it’s offensive.

I’ve also not a beginner, on the internet, (I’ve been online since 1996), and I’ve also worked as a Company Researcher, on the net, so I can tell that these accounts I’m reporting to you aren’t ‘normal’ accounts, but accounts set up with the thought of attacking me, as the main goal.

How can you ignore this at Twitter?

    Get real.
