Hei,

Hi Erika,

How are you?

Quite a lot has been going on in the world of software lately!

This week was Microsoft Ignite where we saw some announcements about new Power BI licensing models, the next releases of Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business Server being subscription only, and more new Teams features than you can shake a stick at.

We have also seen IBM release new guidance around Container licensing, Salesforce’s CEO Marc Benioff waxing lyrical about the wonders of Larry Ellison, and early views on the likely outcome of Oracle’s “Sunrise” legal case around their cloud sales tactics.

As always – stay safe, stay positive, and have a great weekend!

Cheers,

Rich
