Youth Choirs

The perfect after-school activity for children aged 7-12

Liverpool Philharmonic’s choirs, Melody Makers and the Training Choir, are a great way for children to have fun, meet new friends, and make music at the Liverpool Philharmonic. No specialist knowledge is required – just the desire to sing!

Plus, there's the opportunity to perfrom with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall…

Upcoming perfromances including The Best Christmas Sing-along Ever! with conductor Carl Davis CBE (Hon) on Saturday 10 December.

What's involved?

The choirs meet once a week on a Monday to rehearse, here in Liverpool. Both choirs sing lots of different types of music and are the perfect introduction to choral singing. In addition, children will have the opportunity to learn about music through fun games and activities… all with the added opportunity to perform at informal concerts throughout the year.

How much is membership?

The cost of the programme is just £48 per year. In addition, children will receive discounts on tickets to selected Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra concerts (A limited number of bursaries are available to those unable to afford the annual fee).
