Hi,
I also wanted to please update about the problems with my CV.
I told Mr. Ellis, in the first meeting, that I'd contacted the University of Sunderland, (where I've studied), about help for assessing my IT-skills, for my CV.
But Mr. Ellis insisted he wanted to do that.
I said ok, but now be don't agree on the CV.
I have a degree in IT, from University-level, from Norway.
But Mr. Ellis wants to hide my IT-skills on page 2, on the CV.
He want's to present me as a retail-guy, with 'excelent IT skills'.
But I think I am an IT-guy now, (since I got my degree last year), with manager experience, (from retail).
And I also have experience from IT.
But I have no degree in Retail, so I think IT really is my field, but try saying that to Sencia.
I don't think I get the help I really need with my CV.
I'm not an expert on CV's unfortunetly.
But I'm really on a quite high level, since I have experience from running three food-shops in Norway, that were like Tesco-shops, (not like Super-shops but like the medium sized Tesco's).
And I won a prestigeous in-house prize, on year, running a shop like this.
And on top of this, I have a degree in IT, and a lot of other experience, and education.
So I think I should be at, or close to, director-level.
But how can I get help with making a director-CV, or at least an IT-CV?
Seems inposible to me.
Connextions have tried it, Working Links, Jet and now Sencia.
None of the are able to help me with my CV.
I could have gotten Ladders to write it, but I haven't got that good economy, at the moment unfortunately.
Just an update.
Best regards,
Erik Ribsskog
PS.
So Mr. Ellis and myself, we don't really agree on much.
So maybe I should get another PA at Sencia?
Just a thought.
Because I think retail-work is unqualified work, like my area-manager in Norway, Anne-Katrine Skodvin, used to say.
So when I have a university-level qualification, in IT.
Then why does Sencia want me to steal jobs from unqualified people, in Retail?
I don't think this really adds up, unfortunately.

Subject: Complaint/Fwd: File from meeting today Hi,
I wanted to please complain about Mr. Ellis asking me strange questions and interrupting the meeting yesterday, for showing me a strange fairground atraction outside the window.
He also asked me if it was cold outside.
What was that about, did he think I should be wearing a sweater?
Is this play-school or something for adult people?
Mr. Ellis is also all the time saying that he's going to finish my CV, for the next meeting, and then in the next meeting, he says he's going to finish it, for the next meeting again.
So I think I should complain about Mr. Ellis, for interrupting the meetings and using much longer time than scheduled on my CV.
He also looks a bit overworked sometimes I think, especially in our first meeting, with dark rings under his eyes yet.
But I think his questions in the meeting yesterday were so peculiar, so I got a bit worried.
This doesn't seem like normal stuff to me.
So I got a bit worried, that Mr. Ellis is a bit overworked, or something.
Hope this is alrigh!
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Hi again Mr. Ellis,
you also asked me in the meeting today if it was cold outside.
Why these strange questions?
Which relevance has this to our meeting?
Are these trick questions, this with the weather and the fairground atraction, or what it's called?

Hi,
thank you for showing me the fairground attraction outside your Sencia-window, in the meeting today, (even if it puzzels me a bit why you interrruped the meeting to show me this).
But anyway.
I'm sending a copy of the file you wanted, (but which I myself needed since it had employer contact-information on, that I wanted to keep myself).
You asked me about my conscription-service.
It's not that easy to explain, but this was a though conscription-service, in which we did the same skiing-competitions etc., as British special(?) troops, which were on winter-training in Norway.
So my army service was though even if I wasn't a volountere, it was only conscription service.
I was a slim youth, so I had enough with completing this though service, and didn't try to be a coroporal/sergant, or anything.
After this, I was in the mobilisation-army, in Norway, for a few years.
Then I was transfered, (after a 3 week rehersal), to a new Home Defence-unit, in Oslo.
This was some 'new age'-stuff, I think, in which the Home Defence became like the army.
It was called 'Støtte-området HV02 2018', 'Support-area'.
And is now called 'Derby', after an allied operation in Norway, behind nazi lines, in world war II.
But this home defence company, had a platoon called 12.7-platoon.
And that's Browning 12.7 machine guns with a special ammunition called multi-purpose, which are exploding bullets with high-explosives etc.
So I sometimes wonder if this Home-Defence unit was a kind of muslim or mafia or something 'coupe de etat' in Norway.
Because when the Home Defence changes and is like the Army, then something is wrong, I thing.
But this was beside the agenda, some of it, unfortunately.
Just something I had on my mind.
I'll do the job-seach and the reminders, untill the next meeting.
Like I said in the meeting, I also think some of my IT-skills, like Web Design, should be on top of the CV.
After all, I've made a website, from scratch, www.johncons.org , where the meny-bar, at least, should be up to date, what is it one call it, the meny-bar should be almost state of the art i web-design, at the moment, I think.
Just something I had on my mind.
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog
