Hi,
it doesn’t say anything about September on the invoice, so that sounds a bit odd, I think.
Also, why do I get a reply from the tech-support-department.
Should I get a reply from the invoice-departement.
I would have wanted a second opinion (from a superior) about this.

In the second half of last year we sent you a notification to indicate
that we would begin charging VAT on your account. We are required to do
this as you are a resident of a country that collects Value Added Tax.
Due to decisions made by regulators regarding VAT registration in your

meet your tax obligation.
The supplemental amount on your most recent invoice you see is the VAT
charge calculated on your Shared Starter service in September.
If you are a registered business with a VAT ID number, please be sure to
update the tax status of your DreamHost account using the information in
our knowledge base:

Kindly note that the VAT is legally collected and passed on to your
