Former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm landed back in Dublin this morning after abandoning his battle against extradition to face charges relating to the collapse of the lender. Ciaran Darcy and Ciaran Hancock will be reporting on the day’s event.
Swiss-Irish group Aryzta said it saw revenues rise 5.5 per cent to EUR1.96 billion during the six months to the end of January, on the back of a increases sales of speciality foods. Meanwhile revenues at Applegreen rose by 15 per cent to in 2015, the Irish petrol forecourt retailer said on Monday, as strong consumer sentiment in Ireland helped drive the group forward.
