    CWJobs
The following candidate has applied online for the position: Java developer-Leeds.
    Candidate email address: eribsskog@gmail.com.
    Candidate’s comments:
    Hi,

I have a degree in IT, from Oslo University College, where I studied from 2002 to 2004.

I got the grade ‘B’ in Programming, (using Java), and the grade ‘B’ in Programme Development, (also using Java), so I have good knowledge of Java Development.
I have two websites, ([url removed] and [url removed] which I’ve developed from scratch, where I think I show I’m creative and forward thinking.
From my web-sites I think I show that I also have experience similar with making application programming interfaces.
From Oslo University College, we also learned how to use Object Orientated design and development.
I’ve also had programming as a hobby, and have gone to another academy named NHI, and have gone to the computer-line, at Upper Secondary school, so I have good experience in reading and understanding programming-code, and also when it comes to fault diagnoses and resolution experience.
When I studied Information Management at Norwegian College of Information Technology (NHI), in 1989/90 and 1991/92, I also started learning about Unix.
When I studied at the University of Sunderland, (2004/05), I got the best grade on the initial English-test, so my English skills were so good I didn’t have to study English there.
I attach my CV and hope to hear from you!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog
I am not currently eligible to live or work in the UK
If the candidate has supplied a CV it will be attached to this email.

    Hi,
I read about this vacancy on Directgov, and wanted to please apply for this job.
I’ve worked as a Shop Manager for four years, (in three different shops: Rimi Lambertseter, Rimi Kalbakken and Rimi Langhus), in Rimi, (owned by ICA and Ahold), in Norway, from 1998 to 2002.

I’ve also worked as an Assistant Manager, for four years, (in two different shops: Rimi Lambertseter and Rimi Bjørndal), in Oslo, from 1994 to 1998.
For the second half of 2001, I won a prestigous in-house competition for Shop Managers in Rimi, called ‘Rimi Gullårer’, (which only a few percent of Rimi Shop Managers win each half-year), as a Shop Manager on Rimi Langhus.

I attach my CV and hope to hear back from you!
    Yours sincerely,

    Hi Mr. Moore,

I called the Embassy in London now, and the earliest appointment I could get for delivering a new passport-application was 17/1.
The Embassy is a bit formal, I think.

So I’m going to update you more about this, when I’ve been to the Embassy.

(Because then they have to send the passport to the Consulate in Liverpool.

And that’s also going to take a bit of time, so I have to check up that, on 17/1, how long time this is going to take).

Sorry about the problems with this!

    Best regards,

    Hei,

    takk for deres svar!

    Mvh.

Du må bestille time for å bestille pass. Dette kan du gjøre ved å ringe 020 7591 5500 mellom 09.00-16.00 mandag-fredag.

    Hi,
I don’t have my passport here at the moment.

It was stolen a couple of years ago.

And I have to go to the Norwegian embassy in London, to get a new passport, since the consulate here in Liverpool don’t have the right to make new passports any longer, (for some reason).

I’ve lived in the UK since 2004, and am used with just showing my driving license now.

I would have to go to London and get a new passport from the Norwegian Embassy then, unfortunately.

I have to check the opening hours for the Norwegian Embassy first then, in Belgrave, in London, and update you later about this.

    Best regards,

thank you for your e-mail and phone-call.

I’m downloading Skype now, and am going to see if I can find a web-cam in the supermarket later.

Last time i used Skype, I used a USB-phone, (and no camera).

Do you want this to be video-conversation?

I’ve heard that one can use a head-phone as a speaker, so I’m going to try to get eighter a head-phone or a speaker, for Skype.

And I’ll send a new update about this later today.

I also attach a scanned copy of my Driving Licence, from Norway, since you wanted a copy of my ID.

    Hi,

I read about this vacancy on the Jobcentre website, and I wanted to please apply for this job.
My online portifolio includes http://www.godteposer.net/ which is a web-site/shop, which I’ve designed using HTML, CSS and Javascript, this year and last.

In 2008 and 2009 I also designed my personal web-site, on http://johncons.angelfire.com/, using HTML and Javascript.

I also have a degree in IT, (called ‘Høgskolekandidat’), from Oslo University College, after studying there from 2002 to 2004.

I attach my CV and hope to hear back from you!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

yes, I was told in the phone-call today, (by Rachel), that I was going to get an English and a Norwegian language-test sent.
    I haven’t gotten them yet.

The job starts on 19/11, if I remember it right.

If I get a contract, I could go to the bank, and ask to get an overdraft.
I also have a steph-cousin living in Dorset, (in Bournemouth, Andrea Lea Ingebrigtsen, perhaps she can help).

And of course I’ll copy this e-mail to Ingeus, so perhaps they can lend me the money, if they want me to find employment.

Last time I was there they complained about me not speaking Finnish.

So you should hope you don’t get Ingeus in Ireland.
    Anyway, thank’s for the e-mail!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog
    PS.

The e-mail I got from Rachel was perhaps not from you?:

    Hi,

I see now that I’ve manage to leave the phone on ‘silent’.

(It’s a quite new mobile, and I’ve had some problems earlier with strange calls, on my last number).

But I’ve put it back on normal now, so you could just try to call me again tomorrow.
Sorry about the problems with this!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog
