    Og han adelsmannen (eller hva han var) gikk i markedsføringsdelen av klassen.

    (Vi på datalinja var bare 10-20 elever (muligens på grunn av at Gjerde bare hadde en datasal).

    Og han adelsmannen var fra Hemsedal (sa de andre i klassen) hvor han visst oppførte seg billig (sa noen) når turist-damer fra Oslo dukka opp.

    Da var det vel sånn.

    At min lillesøster Pia sin venninne Cecilie Hyde.

    (Jeg pleide noen ganger å møte Pia og/eller Cecilie, i Drammen sentrum, etter skolen.

    For de var byvankere (selv om de gikk på Sande videregående).

    For å si det sånn).

    Hu Cecilie Hyde, hu dro med Thomas Bille (som var i samme gjeng som henne, nemlig Depeche-gjengen) og meg.

    Og så gikk vi bare, litt bort mot CC-senteret/Brakerøya.

    Og så var det vel sånn, at han greven, stod og hang, på fortauet (noen kvartaler unna Gjerdes videregående).

    (Det er mulig at han hadde bilen sin parkert der (og at det var noe feil med bilen).

    Noe sånt).

    Og da gikk jeg med solbriller (for jeg prøvde å liksom se like kul ut, som de i Depeche-gjengen, da).

    (Noe sånt).

    Og da sa han greven: ‘Nå så du kul ut’ (eller noe lignende) når jeg gikk forbi.

    (Husker jeg).

    Men han greven gikk som sagt, i markedsføringsdelen av klassen.

    Og dette var tredje-året.

    Så klassen var delt i cirka halvparten av timene.

    Så det var ikke sånn, at jeg ble noe kjent med han greven, selv om vi gikk i samme klasse.

    (Jeg hadde jo gått på Sande videregående, i første og andre klasse.

    Så jeg hadde bare sett en av mine klassekamerater, før jeg begynte i denne klassen.

    Og det var Monica Ødegaard fra Svelvik (som jeg gikk i klasse med, det andre året på økonomi-linja, på Sande videregående, året før)).

    Men det var kanskje litt ‘russisk’ at Cecilie Hyde, Thomas Bille og meg, gikk gjennom Bragernes-gatene, på den måten.

    For vi skulle vel egentlig ikke noe ‘borti der’.

    (Sånn som jeg husker det).

    Så dette var noe slags tull, fra Cecilie Hyde.

    (Må man vel si).

    Så sånn var vel det.

    Bare noe jeg tenkte på.

    Men men.

    Det er mulig at Cecilie Hyde og Thomas Bille ville ha jobb, på CC Storkjøp.

    (Hvor jeg jobba 2-3 vakter i uka.

    Dette skoleåret).

    Og at de ville, at jeg skulle introdusere de, for butikksjef Karin Hansen der.

    (Og at det var derfor, at de ville, at jeg skulle bli med dem, å gå i den retningen.

    For å si det sånn).

    Men isåfall så var de veldig vage.

    (Må jeg si).

    Og jeg hang ikke helt med på dette.

    (Må jeg innrømme).

    Så sånn var det.

    At han Hemsedal-greven, har prøvd å sjekke opp damer (på after-ski osv.) ved å si at han er greve.

    Og så har dette kanskje vært en slags intern vits, blant hans klassekamerater osv., året før (eller noe).

    For rundt årtusenskiftet (mens jeg bodde på St. Hanshaugen) så var det sånn, at jeg søkte på mitt etternavn: ‘Ribsskog’, på Google.

    (Husker jeg).

    Og da fant jeg noen ‘raringer’, som het Kjell Arne ‘KARisma’ Ribsskog (min mors tremennning).

    Og hans datter Kari-Anne ‘Sula’ Ribsskog (min firemenning).

    Og de dreiv med webdesign osv., (oppe i Flatanger).

    Men de fikk (etter noen år) veldig kritikk, av en vestlending (et sted på nettet).

    (Sånn som jeg husker det.

    Dette var vel noe jeg jeg leste, mens jeg bodde i Liverpool sentrum, hvor jeg bodde fra 2006 til 2011.

    Noe sånt).

    Og han vestlendingen mente, at min mors tremenning sin webdesign, manglet en sånn ‘Til toppen’-pil (eller nettsted-kart) da.

    det måtte være hvis den boken finnes, på et antikvariat/brukt-butikk (som Råkk & Rålls, for eksempel).

    Ellers så har de boken hos Nasjonalbiblioteket.

    (Så man kan lese boken, på forskjellige måter, hos dem).

    Jeg driver også med et backup-prosjekt (hvor jeg legger ut mine bøker gratis, på mitt nettsted, etter å ha laget DOC/PDF-filer, fra kapitlene på bloggen).

    Og da er det sånn, at jeg har tenkt å også lage en gratis-versjon, av den boken, etter at jeg er ferdig med Min Bok 1-10 (noe som blir neste år, hvis alt går etter planen).

    Sorry for the double email Erik.

    I did want to point out that while our PDF invoices don’t show back VAT
    as line items, displaying in the panel DOES currently display them as
    individual line items. I know that doesn’t fix the PDF for you right now,
    but it can help to clarify each VAT cost. And while those are not yet
    labeled to show which VAT line is for which service, we are working on
    getting that information displayed in the panel as well.

    Using the guide above, you should be able to go back a month or two and
    display those invoices in your panel, which should show individual line
    items for each VAT charge.

    Sage Weil is your Managing Director, it says on his LinkedIn-account.

    This just gets worse and worse, I think.

    I’ve worked as a Store Manager for ten years, in a big chain in Norway (Rimi) and I’m used to checking about ten invoices a day (for ten years).

    And I haven’t seen any invoice like yours before.

    So this I think is not fine.

    I don’t understand why I don’t get a reply from the Managing Director about this.

    I’ve also lived in the UK for ten years.

    And they always called me ‘Mr. Ribsskog’, in emails.

    So why do you at Dreamhost use my first-name all the time.

    It gets to clammy/personal I think.

    And you also send me new me new emails, all the time.

    You call yourself Dreamhost, but this is more like nightmare-host.

    This I have to complain about.

    I understand your frustration with how our PDF invoices are displaying.
    Indeed, it is confusing, and not very clear. We do have a task to try and
    make that less confusing, but those have not yet completed development.

    That image you have does appear to be from before Justin applied those
    cancelled charges, however. If you re-download that invoice, it should
    reflect your charges correctly at this time. When I test that on my end I
    am seeing the correct VAT of $6.50. Can you confirm if you re-download
    that invoice what it shows now?

    at DreamHost.

    I see there’s been some confusions about your VAT charges, and the
    amount
    due, dating back to your first email on January 20th. Some of those
    charges have been cancelled since then, but I can take us back to
    what
    the invoices were at the time, and help to explain that situation.

    The VAT due for services rendered on January is $6.50, as you
    noted. That
    was for the renewal of johncons.net, as well as the renewal of the
    Shared
    Starter hosting plan:

    DATE CHARGED SERVICE CHARGE
    2024-01-19 Tax Charges $4.50 (VAT for the Domain
    Registration)
    2024-01-19 Tax Charges $2.00 (VAT for the Starter Shared
    plan)
    2024-01-19 Shared Starter $7.99
    2024-01-19 johncons.net 1 year renewal $17.99

    As we can see, $17.99 + $7.99 = $25.98, and $25.98 x .25 = $6.50.

    This is what your invoices reflect now. What WAS on your invoices,
    that
    has since been removed by Justin, was an additional $2.00 for VAT
    that
    was not collected in September of 2023, for your Starer Shared
    hosting
    plan. VAT was correctly collected from October forward, which is
    why you
    are not seeing any other VAT charges for previous purchases. Only
    the VAT
    from September was missing.

    Since that charge was cancelled, it is not on your invoices any
    longer,
    but I will break that charge and VAT down below, to help to shed
    some
    light on the discrepancy you were seeing:
    DATE CHARGED SERVICE CHARGE
    2023-09-19 Shared Starter $7.99
    2024-01-19 Tax Charges $2.00 (VAT for the Starter Shared
    plan —
    this charge was cancelled, so was not paid, and does not appear on
    your
    invoices any longer)

    Because that additional VAT charge was added late, your overall
    bill was
    $2.00 higher. However, as I mentioned before, Justin cancelled that
    charge when it was clear there was some confusion and displeasure
    with
    that being added later. Again, I do apologize about the confusion
    that
    caused you.

    I hope this helps to clear up where that additional VAT came from
    — if
    you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to reach out
    again!
