    Hi,

    I received a letter from my Landlord today.

    They want my housing benefit, to be sent directly to them.

    But the problem is, that they neven fix things that get broken.

    The boiler didn't work for more than one year, the washing-machine stopped working a couple of years ago, and I had to buy new, since they never fixed it, and I had to wash my clothes in the bath-tub, and I did it wrong, so I had to buy new clothes as well.

    (They also lie about the garbage-throwing facilities, and say they are possible to use, 24 hours, but they close at 11 pm., and one have to walk passed a beer-garden, full of people drinking, so it can also be embarrasing throwing the garbage, so the bins should be on a public are, like in Leather Lane I think, and not in the bin-store belonging to a restaurant).

    So I have to work as a genator, and fix the bath-room lamp with duct-tape etc.
    Also I am unemployed, and on a strict budget.
    So then I don't think it's fair that they should get the whole rent, when I have to do their genetor-work etc., so I sometimes deduct a bit from the rent, since they don't do their job with repairs.

    Also there is load music from the discoteque outside, four nights a week.

    Also, they write 'I am lead to belive', about that I get housing allowance, but that's like they are spying on me, I think.

    That's not a proper reference, I think.
    They go behind my back in a vendetta-way with this letter I got today, I think.
    Because they don't tell you the problems that have been with the repairs etc.

    So their letter doesn't mirror how the tenancy-situation really is, I think.
    So I hope you don't listen to this horrible landlord, but let me have this bargaining-card with them, so that they don't get even worse.

    I wonder if they do this as some kind of hate-crime against me, because their reference/excuse for attacking me, in their letter to you, wasn't fine, I think, (so I send a copy of this e-mail to the police).

    So I hope you don't listen to their one-sided letter, but continue to send me the Housing Allowance as usual.

    PS.

    I've earlier contaced you about the problems with the garbage-bins, that they aren't easily accesable.
    So these problems, with this landlord, should be known by the Council, from before.

    Hi Lorna,

    sorry to write on Christmas Day.
    But the workmen didn't fix the lighting, at the ground floor, just before the stairs.
    And someone in the building don't wait untill the next day, with throwing the letters on the floor in a heap, it seems, so I didn't see that I had gotten some letters, earlier this week.

    Just as an update.
    Thanks for fixing the light at the second floor anyway!

    my Danish-born grandmother, Ingeborg Ribsskog, in Norway, who died in the summer

    of 2009, but my relatives are a bit slow.

    I'll be at your office later this month, when I get the housing

    benefit.

    The reason I'm writing now, is that the lights in the staircase, at

    ground-floor, and the second floor, in Hope Chambers aren't working.

    So someone could fall and break their neck.

    I just wanted to update you about this.

    Idag skulle the Landlord vært her, og henta husleia, klokka 15, men han dukka ikke opp.

    Det er andre gangen det skjer, av tre mulige.

    Hm.

    Han husverten har ikke gitt meg telefonnummeret sitt heller, så jeg får ikke ringt akkurat heller.

    Så det var litt merkelig.

    Jeg får sette pengene i banken, og se om det skjer noe.

  • Kommunist-mafia hos JET?

    Nå ringte Lorraine, fra JET, som er noe kurs-greier osv.

    Jeg ringte henne på tirsdag, og fortalte at jeg ikke kunne gå på kurset, mandag neste uke, for husverten kommer for å hente leia da.

    Så ringte hun nå nettopp, og spurte om det stemte at jeg ikke kunne komme på kurset på mandag.

    Så spurte jeg om hun kunne sette meg opp på et nytt kurs.

    Så bare sa hun ‘ok, I’ll take you off the list, then’.

    Men det var jo det vi prata om på tirsdag(!)

    Og så bare la hun på.

    Så ringte jeg JET.

    Og prata med Kate, og hun sa at Lorraine hadde avspasering/Gro-dag, (‘annual leave’).

    Og at jeg måtte gå til JET’s kontor, for å få bli satt opp på et nytt kurs.

    Så her var det mye rart.

    Har de kommunist-mafia der eller, kan man kanskje lure på.

    Så sånn er nok det.

    Vi får se hva som skjer.

  • Nå skal jeg på ‘Basic Food Hygiene Course’. Mest for å ha noe å gjøre. Men husverten kommer for å hente leia, den dagen, så jeg ba om en ny kursdato

    PS.

    Jeg har ikke noe kontaktinformasjon, til husverten, og jeg orker ikke å prate med hu dama på kontoret der, (for jeg har hatt en del krøll med henne, blant annet så hadde jeg ikke varmvann her, på to år, annet enn i dusjen), så derfor passer det best å ordne denne ‘kollisjonen’ i avtaleplanene mine, på denne tilsynelatende litt tungvinte måten.

    For jeg må være hjemme klokka 15 nemlig, med husleia, så da gidder jeg ikke å henge opp noe lapp, eller noe, (og skrive at jeg ikke er her før klokka 16), for det har vært så mye krøll med husleia, så jeg må nesten prøve å prioritere det, å ikke lage noe mer problemer rundt dette.

    Det er nok det smarteste, vil jeg nok tro.

    Så sånn er nok det.

    Vi får se.
