    Hi,

this is meant as an update to the Council.
My Council-tax-arrears are being deducted from my Jobseekers Allowance.

So I wanted to update the Council.

The Jobcentre don’t communicate in the same way as eg. the Council so they frustrate me very much, so I send copies to other organisations, since the Jobcentre have stopped the money I use for food etc., without informing me, what’s going on.
I have been starving for weeks, a month or so ago, but am now going to apply for a crisis-loan next week.

    If I don’t get a Jobseekers Allowance-payment next week.

I’m now on Ingeus, but they haven’t informed me if I’m going to get my Jobseekers Allowance now, even if a change of circomstances-form was mention.

I don’t mean to waste anyones time.

I got the best grade in correspondence and document-knowledge at business-school in Norway.

To be honest the Jobcentre is just messing me around.

This all started at a sign on meeting in August, when they refused to let me sign on and dragged me to a ‘funny’ meeting.

I wasn’t even given the names of the people I spoke with there.

And even if I explaned my two small businesses ran in minus, this was sent to Birkenhead, and after this I have gotten no money from the Jobcentre.

    They are just being cruel.
I have no idea what to do get this cleaned up.
So I send to a lot of organisations.

    Regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Dear Erik

    Thank you for your e-mail.

I can see you have sent your email to a number of organisations. Job Seekers Allowance is dealt with by the DWP and it is them who you will need to speak to regarding this.

Liverpool City Council however, do deal with Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. If this is something you need assistance with I would suggest you book an appointment at one of our One Stop Shops by ringing 0151 233 3016.

There are 11 One Stop Shops located across the city all offering an extensive range of Council services. To find our more about the services on offer, locations and opening times please click HERE.

If you would like any further assistance on this matter or anything else please let me know via the e-mail address below

    Kind regards

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter from manager Ian Marshall, from 26/9, which I got in the post today.

You write that you can not pay me Jobseekers Allowance, from 15/9.

I’ve been told by the Jobcentre in Williamsson Sq., a couple of years ago, that I can get jobseekers-allowance untill I find a new job.

I’m still unemployed, I only have two small businesses.

But they I worlk with on Sundays, on my spare-time, and I don’t earn any money from them yet.

It’s like the Jobcentre is putting me on a roller-coaster, now.

First you stop my jobseekers-allowance for no good reason.

    Then you start it again.

And now you have stopped it again.

    I found roller-coasters amusing when I was a child.

And not as an adult, when it comes to my income.

A week or two back I was more or less starving due to your cruel and unreasonable stop in my Jobseekers Allowance.

Now you want to put more grey hairs into my hair and starve me again, it seems.

    For no reason at all.

You don’t give a reason for you terror against me.

People who are this cruel shoud work with putting spread on sandwiches.

They shouldn’t be in power and distroy peoples life.

Please stop this madness and let me have my Jobseekers Allowance untill I find a new job.

I’ve showed you my jobseekers-diary every fourthnight since I became unemployed.

So I’m doing my part of the deal, I think.

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter from 19/10, which I recieved just now.

Like I have informed the Council in the forwarded e-mail from 7/9, there’s really no change in my income.

I don’t have any income at all from my two small business.

You have contacted me about this on 4/9, and I explained everything about this to you then.

Why do you contact me again about the same?

    It’s no change since 4/9.

This seems almost insane to me that the Jobcentre have contacted you and told lies my income.

I haven’t gotten my Jobseekers Allowance for two months, and I have been starving.

    This is very inhumane.
I have no money for food again now.

If I hadn’t gotten a payment for around £350 from someone last month, I would had starved to death by now.

Please stop this insane stuff and put my Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit back.

Please tell the Jobcentre to grow up and do the same, they haven’t sent four payments now, this is around £600 that they owe me now.

And the fifth payment is due on Tuesday next week.

The Jobcentre are just using terror and have gone to war against me it seems.

It doesn’t matter what I write to them.

They don’t know how to comunicate or inform and are inhumane.

    Hi,

there’s really no change in my income.

Like I told the Jobcente, (in Aintree), my two small businesses don’t earn any money yet.
It’s just the Jobcentre playing games, it seems to me.

I’ve read in a newspaper archive that I have the Order of St. John in my fathers new line in Norway, so I wonder if it’s them who are having ‘fun’ with me.
    Something like this.

At least theres no change in my income.
So I hope you can put this back like before you heard this non-sence, (I think I have to call it), from the Jobcentre, so that I don’t get a problem with my Landlord.

The only change in my income now, is that the Jobcentre have stopped sending me money.
So I wonder how to pay for food and electricity.

This will run out here in a few days.

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter of 3/9 which I got in the post today.
First I want to complain that I’ve gotten a lot of grey hairs due to your lack of communication, the last couple of days.

I signed for a payment on Thursday last week, at the Jobcentre in Aintree.
So I should have gotten that payment on Tuesday, but I didn’t get it, so now I have no money.
My agreement with the Jobcentre in Aintree was that I would hear from Birkenhead and then we would take it from there.
But you have broken that agreement.

Because I was going to sign on as usual, in the mean-time.

But you messed with a payment in the meantime.

So that means you have broken an agreement and been doing fraud, (I think I have to say), and made me not get food, and made me get a lot of new grey hair, and you also made me have a protest due to the missing payment/fraud, yesterday.

You don’t seem to take people serious.

It’s really no change in my income.
I don’t get any income from my two small businesses, since they don’t earn money yet.

So this is really just dumb.
I’ve been told at the Jobcentre in Williamsson Sq., a couple of years ago, that there is no limit on how long I can claim Jobseekers Allowance.

I asked about this since I was curious due to the Finance Crises.
But now you write about the tax-years 2006 and 2007.

I worked at Arvarto, (first for Randstand and then for Arvato), from 2005 to 2006.

And then as self-employed untill 2008.

So I have been working for many years in the UK.

So I have the right to Jobseekers Allowance like I’m from the EU, I’ve been told by EFTA.

What I am supposed to do now?

Your missing payment have left me with no money, and I have no income from my two businesses.

You punish me for showing initiative, and try to start businesses, I think.

My food and electricity is soon running out.

What am I supposed to do?

How can you make mistakes like this?

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter from 15/10, which I recieved yesterday.
    I haven’t gotten a regular Jobseekers Allowance-payment, since 21/8.
I got a payment of £355 on 24/9, but this isn’t called ‘JSA’, (Job Seekers Allowance), on my bank-statement, from RBS, (even if I’ve asumed it must have been a Job Seekers Allowance-payment).

I have no idea about when I’m going to get my Job Seekers-allowance, the next time.

Both the Jobcentre and Ingeus refuse to inform me about what’s going on.

It’s like this is the Soviet Union and not the UK, I think.

So I have no idea when you at the Council are going to get your money.

I applogise on behalf of the Job Centre who have no idea what the word information means, it seems.
So I hope they clean their act up.

I’m now running out of money for food again, and have to try to get a crisis-loan at CAB, it seems.
    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I only have a mobile-phone, and people sometimes tell me it’s a bad line, so I like to deal with this on e-mail.

Now it’s thirteen days since I sent you an e-mail about this.

Which I haven’t gotten an answer to.

I wonder about the form you sent me.

Are you aware of that I sent you this form on 11/9?

Why do you send me the same form again?

I think it is a lack of information here.

And I also think you are using uneceserely long time, to reply.

This is a bit urgent here.

I haven’t gotten any Jobseekers Allowance since 24/9.

And I can’t afford to go to jobinterviews now, if the Jobs are in the neigbour county, (because the train-ticket cost £12 and I need the money I have for food).

I’m running out of money for electricity and food here.

It’s frustrating that I don’t get proper information, I think.

It’s difficult for me to budget, when I don’t know when I’m going to get money.

This is like putting grey hairs in my head.

I think you should start to treat some e-mails urgent, because I think you are quite slow, to be honest, when it comes to replying to e-mails.

I think other organisations do this better.

So I don’t understand why the Jobcentre need to use much longer time, than other organisations, to reply to e-mails.

    Hi,

I checked the letter you sent me ‘signed for’, on Saturday again now.

I thought it was a normal fourthnightly sign-on-form.

But I now saw that it was a form about me not being self-employed any longer.

And that I have to fill out and send that form, to get Jobseekers Allowance.

I’ve really been in the same situation, for the past two years now.

I have a small business that I don’t make any income from yet.

So that I have to fill out different forms like this all the time is a bit waste of time, I think.

And that I sometimes don’t get money for many weeks is a bit un-practical.

Because then I starve a bit, when the money takes to long, to get to my bank-account.

And I get busy when I finally get the money, because then I have to stock up on food, etc.

    So I guess that’s what’s happened now.

That I’ve gotten a lot of letters from you, while I’m trying to stock up on food again and to recover a bit from the almost starvation.

So I’m going to try to send the form tomorrow.

Sorry about the mix up with this!

    Best regards,

    Hi,
the Jobcentre doesn’t make any sense.
I don’t understand when I’m going to get money again.
I now can’t afford money for electricity etc.
Do you have any grants etc. for people who doesn’t have electricity
    and almost no food etc.
I also need to cut my hair etc.
The Jobcentre haven’t sent me money in almost a month now and I have
no savings, after being un-employed for many years.
    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

no, it's just that I send to you since Tpas don't reply and you pay the Housing Benefit for my appartment.
Also, I've gotten a letter from you regarding litter in this area.

Yesterday, when I was going to the shop, a large guy with a white t-shirt was standing urinating, outside the gate to Keith Court.
And today, the guy in 9 Keith Court talked to me when I went to the shop, in his underwear.

(And he doesn't speak clearly so I didn't understand what he said).
Perhaps you should send a letter telling people not to obstruct gates, urinate and walk outside in their under-wear.

One shouldn't do things like that in streets and courts I think.
Maybe if you are alone in the forest, like one sometimes are in Norway.

But not an avenue and in a court, I think.

Perhaps something you could write about in your next letter to tenants form the Council?

Also, I was in Stanley Park now, after going to Asda in Everton, which I think is a good-shop.

(I used to be a Shop Manager you see, so I'm a bit picky on food-shops).

And it doesn't say when the gates for Stanley Park close.

But the guy in the car with the Googlish-camera on, said they close at 9 PM.

I looked for a sign when I went in to the park, but I couldn't find a sign with the opening hours on.

And I found the gates closed.

And had to walk through the park again.

Perhaps a sign with opening hours on would have been fine for Stanley Park?

    Just a suggestion.

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

it says in your letter that I'd get a voucher in the New Tenant Meeting.

So that should be at your office then I think.

It says in your letter: 'To show our appreciation for your time, if you complete and return our New Tenant Survey to us we will give you £10 in high streets vouchers at _your_ New Tenant Visit within the next few weeks'.

I've marked 'your', because it should be _mine_ visit at your office then, surely.

And not your visit at my address.

It's like an inspection I haven't asked for this, I think.

And an invasion of my privacy.

    I didn't like that.

    This seems strange to me.

Sarah didn't even want the form.

That was supposed to go to another office, she said.

And your letter, with the quote in was from 6/9.

So it makes no sense, because Sarahs visit was on 10/9, two or three days after I got the letter.

I don't this add up, because she didn't want to give me a voucher.

And she didn't want the form that came with the letter with the quote.

So this is something akward, I think.

I think you should treat people like adults.

People don't need visits like this.

Get a general enquiry e-mail, and they'll just send you an e-mail if they wonder about something.

Sorry if I'm harsh, but I've rented both in Norway and the UK a lots of times earlier, and have never heard of New Tenants Visits.

I'm not sure if I think that's a good idea, with those meetings.

It's like you patronise people, then I think.

I haven't gotten a key for the gate.

But the lock is very easy to open with ones fingers, without a key.

    So the security isn't fine.

I think you should inform people when they move in that the code isn't being used.

I can try to paint the roof myself, after the electricians.

I don't want to be unreasonable, and ask you to send repair-people here all the time.

    So that's alright.

I just don't want to get the blaim for this bad repair at a later stage.

I also think you should put a general enquiry e-mail address on your web-site.

Sarah told me you bought these flats from Serenity, some years ago.

And that Serenity used them for older people.

But you rent them to 'normal' people.

But the community-care-system is in all rooms.

You should inform people when they move in, that the community care system is from Serenity.

I don't understand why you kept that community care-system.

The people at their central can hear anything that's being said in the flat, I think.

And when I moved in, I didn't understand what does strings were, and I pulled one to see what they were connected with and someone started talking to me on the community-care.

I think this is a bit strange.

But anyway, thanks very much for your e-mail.

Like I told Sarah I never thought I'd live this close to Goodison Park.

My mother was an au-pair in the UK, in the late 60's, and she supported Everton.

So I also started supporting Everton, since I lived with my mother, in the 70's.

So it's very fun to have a view to Goodison Park, I think 🙂

    Thanks again for your e-mail!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Dear Mr Ribsskog,

Thank you for your email. I would like to take to opportunity to reply to the points you have raised and hopefully resolve any queries.

I am sorry for any confusion over the gate security. I have spoken to Sarah who has informed me that the code is no longer in use, but that each resident has been issued with a key to lock/open the gate. Please let me know if you do not have the relevant key.

Regarding your electricity key, LHT do not have any role in providing electricity keys, as this relationship is between the electricity provider who you select and yourself. If any of your wiring or sockets etc were faulty we would repair these. I am sorry to hear that you were without electricity for a period, but am pleased to hear that you have been able to resolve this.

I have raised the issue of chewing gum whilst speaking to customers with the relevant officer and apologise if any offence was caused.

You have asked about why Sarah attended with the contractors. As Sarah explained she was attending to carry out your New Tenant Visit. This is a standard visit which is carried out for new Tenants in the first few months of the Tenancy at the property, to ensure that new Tenants have moved in and are settling in ok, and that the property is being looked after, and basically see if there are any problems that we can help address. The nature of this visit means that it has to be carried out at the property and not in the office. The reason Sarah came at the same time as the contractors was to try and minimise the disruption to yourself as we are aware that you value your privacy as you have mentioned. This meant that we only had to disturb you once rather than Sarah coming separately. I hope this clears up any confusion regarding the visit. The reason Sarah didn’t take the form is because this goes to a separate department in LHT who issue the voucher. I will forward your scanned form to them, and I thank you for taking the time to complete it.

I have noted the picture you sent of the smoke detector and I agree that this seems to have been poorly finished. I can arrange to have this rectified if you wish, but I note that you have said you do not want the contractors to come out again. Let me know if you want us to arrange an appointment to make good the painting.
