    Hi,

I'm sorry I don't mean to argue with you.
But, this is a formal complaint.
I shouldn't need to put it in a form, to make it formal.
I've sent complaints to the Council, by e-mail earlier.

So this make any sense to me.
Please tell me why you don't consider complaints sent in e-mails to be formal.
    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I wanted to please complain about JET.

It seems they only accept complaints, that has to do with rasism.

Other than that, one can only send evaluation-forms.

I think they're then ignorant, as an organisation, and that they are degrading their clients.

I think Jet should have a proper complaint-procedure, like I know the Liverpool City Council and the Local Government Ombudsman has.

    Well,

your college said she was going to send me an application-form.

And then I receieved the evaluation-form.

So it wasn't obvious what the evaluation-form was about.

But I reacon now, that it was regarding my meeting, with the Employability Team.

Anyway, it was after my contact with Naric, that I thought I had to complain, and not after the meeting there.

So this with that one only can complain, when one reseve your form, that doesn't really make any sense to me.

It didn't say, when I received the form, what it was regarding.

I think you should have sent a letter with it, to explain.

Since I was in continuous contact with JET, so it really didn't make any sense to me, at the time, unfortunately.

But thank you very much for informing me about this.

I'm going to Employment Zones now, so I can try to bring these issues up with them.

But I'll have a look at the e-mail from your collegue, from 17/8 again, and see what it says.

    Hi,

thank you very much for your e-mail!

As I explained in one of the e-mails I sent yesterday.

Now, it's with the University of Sunderland.

I just got an e-mail from the University of Sunderland Alumni, telling me that they have passed my CV on to the right department, (the department who gives advice on careers etc).

So maybe we should wait untill I've heard from the University of Sunderland, about the assessing of my IT-skills.

Because I'm not that good at that myself.

You write that you haven't got founds for clients.

But when Working Links sent me to Jet, (last year, I think it was).

Then it was because you said you could found my course.

And I haven't received a statement from Naric.

That was just what it said on their website, that my Norwegian degree, was comparable with, in the UK.

But that was just about my degree.

I've also studied for two years, on a second 'home university', in Norway.

    (And also in Sunderland).

So I've studied at three universities.

So that's why it's complicated, regarding if I'm at level 5 or 6.

    I think I'm at level 6 really.

But my degree is only level 5.

This is a big differnce when one apply for work.

Because level 6-degrees, (Bachelor Degrees), are much more well known by employers, I think.

Therefore, I would have wanted a statement form Naric, telling me I'm at Bacehlor degree-level.

Because then I would easier get a job, I think.

Gillian told me, that you could found my course in Web-design, with Liverpool Community College.

But you write now, that '
do not have any funding available to offer clients'.

I suspect that you are lieing.

So I send this complaint to the manager for Jet, which I think is Lorraine Elliott.

I also want Jet to call Liverpool Community College, and ask why they haven't contacted me about the course that starts in October.

    Is this some mob-activity?

I hope Lorraine Elliot cleans this up.

You others at Jet should be ashamed!

It is my understanding that we do have a statement from Naric explaining that your qualification is equivalent to a Higher National Diploma. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay for any further services from Naric as at present as we do not have any funding available to offer clients.

If you can come in and see me, I will happily go through the CV with you and discuss how we can move forward and if we are able to offer you any further assistance.

    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail!
So who within the Council, will answer my complaint about Jet.
(Within two weeks, like it says in your Complaint Procedure)?

I think it's a bit confusing, that the Council runs Jet.

Because then JET is both the Council and Jet.
It would have been easier to keep the overview if Jet was an independant organisation I think.

But now it's not clear for me what's going to happen.
Is someone employed by the Council going to look at my complaint against Jet?
    Best regards,

    Yours sincerely,

    Hi again,

I think, that if you only accept complaints, in the form of evaluation-forms.

So then I don't see any use, to go on with this.

You accept complaints that has to do with rasism, it seem to me.

So I don't think there's any use for me to go on with this.

I have already given you my feedback, in e-mails.

And if I'm only alowed to give feedback, but not to complain, then I think that sounds a bit strange.

It's like I'm being ridiculed then, I think.

I think you should have a complaint-process, like most organisations, like I know the Local Government Ombudsman has.

I see you are part of Liverpool City Council, so I think I can use their complaint procedure.

    Hi,

thank you very much for your e-mail!

As I explained in one of the e-mails I sent yesterday.

    Now, it's with the University

    of Sunderland.

I just got an e-mail from the University

    of Sunderland Alumni,

telling me that they have passed my CV on to the right department, (the

department who gives advice on careers etc).

So maybe we should wait untill I've heard from the University of Sunderland,

about the assessing of my IT-skills.

Because I'm not that good at that myself.

You write that you haven't got founds for clients.

But when Working Links sent me to Jet, (last year, I think it was).

Then it was because you said you could found my course.

And I haven't received a statement from Naric.

That was just what it said on their website, that my Norwegian degree, was

    comparable with, in the UK.

Because level 6-degrees, (Bachelor Degrees), are much more well known by

    employers, I think.

Therefore, I would have wanted a statement form Naric, telling me I'm at

    Bacehlor degree-level.

Because then I would easier get a job, I think.

Gillian told me, that you could found my course in Web-design, with Liverpool Community College.

But you write now, that 'do not have

any funding available to offer clients'.

I suspect that you are lieing.

So I send this complaint to the

manager for Jet, which I think is Lorraine Elliott.

I also want Jet to call Liverpool Community College,

and ask why they haven't contacted me about the course that starts in October.

    Is this some mob-activity?

I hope Lorraine Elliot cleans this up.

You others at Jet should be ashamed!

    Hi,

I think it's strange if you can't send it to the Council-officers who where here.

They seemed to be interested in it.

If not, why did they call on my door?

I've been receiving training for the East Riding Council, (in Yorkshire), when I worked for Arvato, in the Cunard Building, (since they have out-sourched bin-problems enquieries etc., to Bertelsmann Arvato).

And then we where thought to say things like, 'I'll send it to the right person, and they'll contact you back'.

So I think it's strange that you don't tell me something like that.

    Hi,

    that's very fine!

I just wanted to explain to you, in the Council, how the garbage-arrangement works, for Hope Chambers.

Since I'm from Norway, but Mr. Grimes explained it in proper English, in his e-mail.

Since the Council sent officers in uniforms, on my door, last year, to ask about this.

But, the system is a bit complicated, to explain about, (for me as a Norwegian), so that's why I sent you Mr. Grimes' explanation.

It would be very fine, if you could send it to the officers from the Council, who was here last year.

(I think one of them had a mustache).

Then they are going to be able to grasp more about the garbage-situation, in Leather Lane and Dale St.

Then they know where the people in Hope Chambers throw the garbage, because I'm not sure if I managed to explain this, very good, last year.

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Hi,

I think it's a bit un-practical arrangement, for the people letting here, in Hope Chambers.

That one have to throw the garbage, in an area, where a lot of people is gathered.

    It's just stupid.

But I'll just let it lay right inside the gates then, for the restaurant Lady of Mann, if the court-yard is packed with people.

That should be on private property, so it's not's like it's laying in Dale St., or anything then.

Thank you very much for your help.

The noise is much worse from G-bar, that's in Eberle St., since G-bar also is in Leather Lane, right across from Hope Chambers.

They play load music, untill 6 AM. each Sunday.

But I guess you've probably got a lot of complaints about this from before?

I sit up all night doing computer-work, on Sundays, so that's ok.

But then it isn't easy to get up early, the next day, before the court-yard is packed, with the garbage.

But anyway, just to explain, I'll remember what you wrote in the earlier e-mails.

Thank you very much for you help!

    Hi,

it's the court-yard behind the pub Rigby's in Dale St.

It's where some people from the restaurant Lady of Mann, eat, and where some people from Rigby's pub drink, I think.

The court-yard is sometimes packed with people.

And, they are wearing posh suits and summer-dresses, and things like that.

I think these are people who aren't used to being asked, to step away, and give room, for people throwing garbage.

So I'm a bit afraid their going to react and attack, if I ask them to do that.

Also, they make a lot of noise, with chatting load, so I don't think they would hear me.

Maybe the bins should be in Leather Lane, and not in the restaurant/pub-area?

    Best Regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    PS.

I also send a copy e-mail, to Mr. Grimes at the Landlord, T.J. Thomas, about this.

If the people are obstructing the bins in a public area it would not be in our jurisdiction to act. Subject: Problems with garbage in Leather Lane and Dale St./Fwd: Storage & Disposal of Rubbish

    Hi,

some officers, from the Council, wondered about the garbage, in Leather Lane and Dale St., last year.

Some of the problem is, that the bin store, for Hope Chambers, is in the inner-most corner, in the court-yard, behind Rigbys Pub.

And that court-yard, is often filled with drunks or social drinkers and restaurant-guests.

So the store bin is being opstructed.

    Like here:

And household-waste has to be put in the purple bins, which are being oppstructed by lot's of people who are often a bit drunk.

So they might get aggressive, if you try to push them away, I fear.

(Also, Mr. Grimes at T.J. Thomas, writes that the bin store is accessable, 24/7, but that isn't true, the gates for the courtyard, are closed, sometimes before 11 pm, and sometimes don't open untill 12 am.

So people can't throw the garbage, before work, if one have a 9 to 5 job, for instance.

Just for your information, since your Council-officers, (with white and black uniforms, almost like the police), wondered about this, last year, and knocked on my door, to ask about this.

    Best Regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

The bin store for Hope Chambers is located in the right hand corner of the Courtyard area to the rear of Thomas Rigby's Public House.

Rubbish should be stored within your apartment until you are ready to use the bin store provided.

Although the bin collection for this complex is on a Monday morning the bin store can be accessed at anytime during the week.

As such there should be no reason for rubbish to mount up within your apartment.

    Hi,

I'm from Norway, but live in the UK.
Here one can see how some people treats Norwegians in the UK.
They bully me and call me 'Ms', like mobsters, and they suggest to meet foreigners at a sweaty Gym, instead of replying in writing, like I wanted.

I think that some mobsters attacked me at the Liverpool City Council Gym and that some mobsters in the Council and at the Local Government Ombudsman covered it up.
I guess this could be, since I'm Norway.

And according to the EEA-agreement, I have the same rights as EU-citizens, in the UK.
So I think you should make the Liverpool City Counil and the Local Government Ombudsman, pay me a lot of money in compensation, for all their crap, that I have to take, since I'm from Norway, or why they do this.

    Best Regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

ok, I guess it's nothing to do about that case then.

I thought you let the Coucil get away to easy.
I mean, I send them a written complaint, and the offer to meet me in a sweaty gym.

I go to the gym to work-out, not to have meetings.
Meetings I think should be held somewhere with less sweat, endorfines and hormones in the air.
So I thought it was just riddiculus, that you let the Council get away.

All I wanted was a reply in writing from them.
Which I think is the norm, if one send a written complaint.
But all this non-sense with the Council suggesting meetings at the Gym, and you at the Ombudsman letting Liverpool City Council getting away with that.

I think that this reminds me of another smell than the one at the gym.
All of this smells really, I think.
But I guess it's nothing to do about this.
    Regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I don't think one phone-call like that, is something to make

    a fuss about.

But I thought the problems with the harassment against me at the Council Gym,

    was more important.

So I thougth that maybe I could go on with that case, since

    Dear Mr Ribsskog,

    Thank you for your email.

I have established from searching for your details

that you had a complaint investigated by the Local Government Ombudsman which

    was closed in February 2009. (08 000 279)

If you have a new complaint with the council you will

need to complete the council’s own complaints procedure before requesting that

the Ombudsman considers your complaint for investigation

Please also note that we do not simply tell councils

what to do, we would only make recommendations to a council in the event that

fault was found during a complaint investigation by the Ombudsman.

If you would like to raise a new complaint because you

have completed the council’s complaints procedure then please fill out the

attached form and return it with a copy of the council’s final response to your

    complaint.

    Hi,

I had a complaint against Liverpool City Council, (Lifestyles Gym), that I

wanted them to reply to in writing, (back in 2006!).

    You

at the Ombudsman said they didn't have to, since they offered to meet me at the

    gym.

    On

28/5, Lifestyles called me, wanting me to reply to a customer survey.

I tried to explain, that I had a complaint against them, and because of this,

didn't want to be part of the survey.

But the person calling didn't speak that good English, I think I have to say.

    So

it ended with me having to hang up.

    Can't

you please tell the Council to reply to my complaint in writing, so that we get

    this case over with?

    Best

    Hi,

I wanted to complain about JET, to the Council.
They don't seem to take it seriously, that their representatives are inpolite, and say their managers names, on the phone.
Also, if one wants to resign, on the next course, since you find that you have agreed a meeting, with the landlord, to collect the rent, on the same day.
Then one have to take public transport back to Walton, and it isn't enought with a phone-call, to just be re-put, on the next course.

    This I think is silly.
They also use two months, to send course certificates, and only after complaining not to have received one.
Hope you can send this to the right autorothy, that are responsible for JET.

    Yours sincerely,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Dear Erik,

Thank you for your comments. With regards to having

to go to Walton, all newly registered clients are encouraged to have in-depth

guidance and support which will have been another reason why you were urged

to visit your appointed guidance officer there.

As I mentioned in my previous correspondence, you can visit

any office to undertake job searches and if you wish to change your preferred

JET office and guidance officer to a more convenient location, this can be

    arranged.

    I will

arrange to send your food hygiene certificate to your home

    address.

    Hi,

I got a call from Neo today, about that you were going to put me on the next course now, in 'Basic Food Hygiene'.

But I haven't got an answer, to my complaint with you, why did your representative call me, on her holyday from work?

And why do one of your representatives tell me that I have to go to Jet, to change the course-date, when your call today shows that this isn't right?

    To: Jet@liverpool.gov.uk

    Hi,

I called on Tuesday, regarding a 'Basic Food Hygenie'-course, that Walton Jet put me on, after I was sent to Jet, from Working Links.

I found out, when I got your letter, that the course crashed with another appointment I have at 3 pm, on Monday.

So I called, and spoke with Lorraine.
She was going to get someone to call me back, since I wanted to be put on the next course.
Then she called me today, just to tell me that she took me off the list.

And then she hang up, without listening to what I was saying, that I wanted to be put on the next course.
So then I called Jet up, and spoke with Kate, who told me that Lorraine was on annual leave, and that I had to go to the Jet office, to re-sign on the next course.

But why did Lorraine call me, when she was on annual leave?

I've been having some problems with some communist-mob, or something, in Norway, is this something to do with this?

Thanks in advance for help in advance, regarding finding out what's been going on!

    Yours sincerely,
    Erik Ribsskog
