    Hi,

I called Birkenhead Benefit Centre now, on 0845 608 8529, and spoke with Margareth there.

She could inform me that the payment I got on 16/11 of £497, was from JCP, (and was Jobseekers payments from 21/9 to 8/11, I think she said).

And that the payment I got on 24/9, of £355.02 was Jobseekers Allowance from 17/8 to 20/9.

I explained that I have thought that these payments were the Housing Benefit, since the Jobseekers Allowance-payments were sent collected.

And also that not even RBS could tell me who these payments were from.

So you can now just ignore my complaint about missing JSA-payments.

Since Margareth told me that my JSA-payments are now up to date.

I send copy e-mails to my Landlord and the Council, to explain more about this unfortunate misunderstanding.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I called RBS now, and spoke with Joan there.

She to couldn’t see who the payments where from, but she contacted the Payment-team, and they said it was from an HSBC-account, with the sort-code 42 08 37.

So I guess that’s the JCP then?

I hope you can have this in mind later, to put your name on the transfers, if this was from you.

I got a regular payment from you, last week, of £142, and that was labeled ‘DWP JSA’, so then I knew it was from you.

But the other payments were just labeled: ‘FP 16/11/12 1433’, and a lot of symbols, so even RBS couldn’t see who sent it.

I’ll try to call you one of the next days, (since you don’t respond to e-mails, like Rude(?) with you said the last time I called you), to try to clear up the mystery surrounding who with a HSBC-account sent these payments.

Since even RBS don’t know who they are.

    Just as an update.

Sorry that I’m sending a lot of e-mails regarding this strange mystery! 🙂

    Hope this is alright!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I’m forwarding an e-mail regarding problems with the Housing Benefit, to Liverpool City Council, as an update, on my letter, from 29/11, regarding Jobseekers Allowance.

It seems there has been a misunderstanding here, from my side.

I have gotter two payments in the region of £300-400, in the last months.

(One in September and one in November).

I’ve just assumed it was the Housing Benefit, since that usually is in the region of £300-400.

(Because I got the Housing Benefit sent to me directly earlier, and it has recently been resumed.

So I thought it must have been reset who it was going to be sent to, when it was resumed.

And I thought that was why I got these payments, which was only labeled ‘express’, (or something similiar), on my online bank statement).

I now think that these payments must have been two or three Jobseekers Allowances, sent in collected payments.

But I’m also going to contact RBS, to get this made clear.

    Just to update about this.

Sorry about the problems regarding this misunderstanding!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

thank you for your letter from 29/11, which I recieved today.

Like I explain in the forwarded e-mail, to LHT, it has been a misunderstanding, from my side, regarding the Housing Benefit.

Some payments have just been labeled ‘expess’, (or something similar), on my online bank-statement.

And these payments have been in the region of what the Housing Benefit normally is.

So I have assumed that these payments where the Housing Benefit, (sent to my bank-account).

But I’m now going to contact RBS, to get it clear, who these payments have been from.

(I guess they have been from JCP, who have sent me two or three Jobseekers Allowances, in one payment).

I’m sorry about the problems due to this understanding!

(I’m going to complain to RBS about the problems with the bank-statement).

    Sorry again about this!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    PS.

I got a letter from LHT, (sent 24/10), which I attach a scanned copy of.

And there they mention that my Housing Benefit had been stopped.

So that’s why I was sure it was the Housing Benefit, that had been sent to my bank-account directly.

(Like when I lived in Leather Lane, a couple of years ago).

Because I have gotten no letters about the mentioned payments, in the post.

And like I’ve mentioned above, it hasn’t been easy interperated my bank-statement.

Sorry again about the problems with this, and thanks again for the letter!

    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail!

Today I got a letter from the Council, which I attach.

It says they have sent my Housing Benefit to you, every month.

So it has been a misunderstanding.

Because I got a letter from you last month, (which I attach a scanned copy of), where you told me that my Housing Benefit had been canceled.

So I then assumed that some payments I got on my RBS-account, where the Housing Benefit, from the Council, (because I complained about that the Housing Benefit had been stopped).

So I thought the Council had starting sending me the Housing Benefit, (like they did when I lived in Leather Lane, a couple of years ago).

Because it doesn’t say on my RBS-statement, who the mentioned payments, (which I mention in my earlier e-mails to you, which you sent to Laura Murphy), on my bank-statement.

So I have assumed they were Housing Benefit.

Since they were in the region of £300-400.

(And not in the region of £140, which the Jobseekers Allowance is).

But I’m going to contact RBS now, to check up on this.

I send copies to the Council and the Jobcentre, as updates, (since I’ve contacted them earlier about these payments).

    Sorry about the misunderstanding.

The payments have used said ‘express’, (or something similar), on my online bank-statement.

So this has lead to me misunderstanding about this, unfortunately, it seems.

So I’m going to complain to RBS about this.

Sorry again about the problems with this!

    Hi,

    /div>

just to update a bit about this.

My main focus has been the problem with the missing Jobseekers Allowance-payments, in the last months.

But from my memory, I can only remember to have recieved Housing Benefit, (which I first thought was Jobseekers Allowance), in September and November.

I can’t see that I’ve recieved any Housing Benefit for October.

I’m also wondering on which date I will recieve future Housing Benefit-payments, (and the amount), so that I can tell my Landlord the exact details regarding future payments.

So I hope you can send me the Hounsing Benefit-payment for October as well.

Since I don’t think the Landlord have gotten Housing Benefit from you, since August.

So they now are going to want rent for September, October and November, from me.

    And that’s around £1000.

And you have just sent me, (from my memory), around £700-800, in Housing Benefit.

I got one payment in September, on a bit more than £300, (I think it was).

And I got one payment in November, on a bit more than £400, (I think it was).

(I can check these figures on my bank-statement, if you want me to get the exact figures).

So I think I’ve gotter more than £200 to little in Housing Benefit from you, in the months: September, October and November.

So I wondered if you could check up on this.

Because I want to pay the money I owe to the Landlord.

So that I don’t get arrears with them.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail!

On Friday, I got a rent statement letter from you, (dated 22/10, so Royal Mail have perhaps had problems with delays?), which I attach.

The statement shows that I have no arrears on 21/10.

I’m wondering if this statement could be right, since Laura Murphy writes in her letter, from 24/10, (which I recieved many weeks ago), that my rent-payments might be in arrears.

So I’m sending this e-mail and scanned copy of your letter, (from 22/10), as a new update to Laura Murphy.

I’m also attaching a copy of a letter which I sent to JCP on Thursday, regarding the missing Jobseekers Allowance Payments, in September, October and November.

    Hope this is alright!

    Best regards,

    Hi,

I checked my online banking now, and I see that I’ve gotten a Jobseekers Allowance payment on my bank-account, today.

So I can now start paying my rent again, when I get my Housing Benefit next month.

So I’ll pay my next rent-payment by the end of next month, (by my payment-card, if that’s alright).

And then I’ll contact the Jobcentre, and hear if they are going to send me the seven missing payments, which I haven’t gotten, since August.

And then I’ll pay the arrears, I thought.

Just wanted to update you regarding this.

    Hope this is alright!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter from 24/10, which I recieved today.

I’m forwarding you an e-mail which I sent to the Council today, to update you about the situation with the Housing Benefit.

I also attach a letter from the Council, which I got today, regarding this.

The Jobcentre now owes me more than £700 in Jobseekers Allowances, (five missing forthnightly payments).

But I’m working a lot with trying to get this solved, and I contact them about this every day, or so.

So I hope it’s going to be solved as soon as possible.

I also copy this e-mail to the Jobcentre, so perhaps they understand that I need my Jobseekers Allowance to make my budget go around, at the moment.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter from 30/10 which I recieved today.

You write that I have two small businesses.

These are really hobbies, like the Jobcentre have called them earlier.

The first hobby-business, is a couple of years old, and is both a small web-shop, which works, but it’s also to have an online portifolio, when I apply for Web Design-jobs, since I’m unemployed and a full-time jobseeker.

So these hobby-businesses are something I do on my spare-time.

The second hobby-business are books I’ve written about my life in Norway, before I had to go as a refugee to the UK.

But these royalites aren’t that much.

Like this month I didn’t get any income, since I didn’t sell enough books, to get over the payment-threshold, of ten dollars, which CreateSpace/Amazon have for self-publised books.

So I’m not full-time self-employed, like the Jobcentre seem to think.

They haven’t sent me my Jobseekers Allowance, for more than two months, even if I’ve showed them the book-keeping for these hobby-businesses.

They are perhaps infected by some communists or Al Quaida or something, and mess with me.

    Who knows.

I hope it’s enought that I send you, (again), the book-keeping, for these two hobby-businesses.

I also forward this e-mail to a lot of organisations to warn about that there’s something wrong at the Jobcentre, it seems.

Please just contact me if there’s something I’ve forgotten to explain about.

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I attached the earlier mentioned form and also the book-keeping for my two, small businesses.

You write in your letter from 5/9 that I should advice you as soon as possible if I have not yet recieved any pay from my businesses.

That’s right, these businesses run a bit in minus yet, so I have still not recieved any payment from any of these two businesses.

Also, I think I should add that my web-shop have been attacked a lot.

It has been hacked a lot and also hi-jacked from One, (by e-mailing them a hoax-e-mail).

And it has even been ridiculed on a TV-programme called Tweet 4 Tweet, about the internet, on the ‘Norwegian BBC’, that’s NRK 3.

So that’s why it has sold less lately, I guess, due to bad publicity, towards this litle business, on state television, in Norway.

I have no idea why I’m being attacked this much, but I’m more or less a refugee, from Norway, having heard there I’m followed by the ‘mafian’, in 2003, and I was the viction of a murder-atempt, in 2005, but Police don’t investigate, for some reason.

Also, the UK have almost doubled the postage for packs like I send to Norway, this spring.

So I’ve had to raise prices, which isn’t good for the turn-over.

And I depend on a high turn-over if this business is going to be succesfull.

But good marketing could still make it sucessful, I think.

    So I haven’t given up.

I also refer to the web-shop(s), (I have one for Norway, one for the UK etc., since I’ve made my own design, since osCommerce was hacked so much, so I’ve made my own, ‘hacker-proof’ design, witch is in HTML, which can’t be hacked, I think), in my cover-letters.

Since I’m an IT-graduate, I apply for Web Design jobs and other IT-jobs.

Then one almost really have to have a portifolio, because employers ask to see your work.

And that’s why I accept to lose like £10 a month on my web-shops, because they are also my web-design-portifolio.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Latetely I’ve also started self-publishing.

I’ve had a blog for five years, and have a lot of material on my blog.

And some of the material is well suited for being published as books, I think.

So I’ve started publishing some old blog-material as books.

But that’s something that I’ve quite recently started with.

The web-shop was my first business.

Please just ask me if there is anything I should explain more about on the form, etc.

Ingeus, (Mary Stevenson), in Sunderland, told me to do book-keeping for my web-shops.

Mark, at the Jobcentre, in Williamsson Sq., has told me the web-shop was a hobby.

And the Jobcentre have put me on the Work Programme, even if I’ve had this web-shop.

I have been in several meetings with the Jobcentre in Sunderland, and Ingeus in Sunderland and Liverpool regarding if I should have really been on a self-employment-programme ran by the Jobcentre.

Rather than being on the Work Programme.

Since Ralph at Elect, in Liverpool has told me the Work Programme has no founds for marketing.

Even if Sencia mentioned they could give me founds for marketing, when I was on the Sencia-programme.

But then my web-shop was so much attacked by hackers, so I didn’t want to advertice for an unstable business.

No, with my new design, (which I’ve contacted patent-offices about, since it’s a click-shop using Javascript, which is inituive, I think, and could be used in other web-shops as well, I think. And this invetion, is my own invention, which I made in 2011, I
think it must have been, when I made my own web-shop-solution, after all the attacks on the osCommerce web-shop).

So there’s also my invention, (the click-shop), in this.

I please don’t want to lose the rights for this invention, which could hopefully be sold to other people who want’s to start web-shops, possibly at least, I hope.

So I think there are possibilities here.

Now the web-shop is stable and ready to be broader marketed, I think.

I hope to find some Jobcentre-programme, or job-cafes, like the Jobcentre adviced me about, which have founds for this broad marketing.

But at the moment I have no money, so I don’t understand why you’ve stopped a payment I’ve signed for.

Because this is just part-time-jobs, which I spend 5-10 hours a week running.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter, from 5/9, which I received today.

The work I did, (on the mentioned forms), was only a few hours.

When I went to sign on, at the Jobcentre, four weeks ago, on Thursday.

I wasn’t allowed to sign on.

But I had to have a ‘funny un-scheduled meeting’, (I’d call it), first.

Which I didn’t get to prepare for, at home.

In this meeting I informed that on my two, small businesses, I worked _less_ than 16 hours a week.

(Since this was some kind of limit, I was told).

I also informed that my businesses ran in minus.

And that I didn’t earn any money on them yet.

You say a letter was generated on 28/8.

I got a letter on Friday, last week.

    That’s 7/9.

How can the letter use this long time?

And how the sanction started on 17/8.

How can you send a letter about that, on 28/8?

That’s something to complain about I think.

Because in the meeting I was told I would sign as usual, untill I heard from you.

    But this hasn’t happened.

I signed on, on Thursday, two weeks ago, on Thursday.

But I didn’t get any money on Tuesday, last week.

So I had a protest, on Thursday last week.

And got the generated, (and very slow), letter, on Friday, last week.

How can you inform about a desition almost a month after the desition is made?

It should be the other way around, I think.

Inform about the desition in advance.

This is a business, that I’ve had for two years now.

And the Jobcentre have previously called it a ‘hobby’.

    Now I have no money.

I’m going to read the form, and try to understand how to get money.

Should I apply for Income Benefit, since I have no income yet, from these two, small businesses.

Maybe next year, or something, I can get some income from them.

Thanks in advance for a reply regarding this.

I’ll also try to get the form sent back later today.

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

today I got a new letter from you, (which I attach).

You tell me to post some forms for you, but no forms were enclosed.

I don’t have money for printer-ink or postage since I didn’t get the payment on Tuesday, (which I signed for last week).

Can I go to the Jobcentre in Edge Lane, (where I used to go when I lived in Fairfield, earlier this year), and fill out the forms?

You say I have to send the forms no later than five days after my sign-in-day.

But my sign-in-day was Thursday last week, and that’s already more than five days ago, today, and I got your letter today.

I also think it’s like the Jobcentre have tried to trigger a reaction from me, (like I write in my e-mail yesterday), since you just stop sending my Jobseekers Allowance from 17/8.

You should have told me this well in advance of 17/8 then.

But you tell me this on 7/8.

I would please like to you to have a look at that fact, in case you forget it in all the other information here.

Because if you inform about decitions almost a month later, then people are going to be misarable, and desperate, because they aren’t going to understand anything, and they are going to be hungry, and worry about how to pay their bills,

to get money for food, etc.

And they are going to feel humiliated.

I don’t it should be necessary to explain this.

Because it’s well known that people need food, etc.

So I wanted to please complain about this again.

So if you could send me the missing payment as soon as possible please, and also the relevant forms, (which I didn’t get with your letter today), then I’ll buy stamps, and send the forms back as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help with this!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I’m refering to your letter of 3/9 which I got in the post today.

First I want to complain that I’ve gotten a lot of grey hairs due to your lack of communication, the last couple of days.

I signed for a payment on Thursday last week, at the Jobcentre in Aintree.

So I should have gotten that payment on Tuesday, but I didn’t get it, so now I have no money.

My agreement with the Jobcentre in Aintree was that I would hear from Birkenhead and then we would take it from there.

But you have broken that agreement.

Because I was going to sign on as usual, in the mean-time.

But you messed with a payment in the meantime.

So that means you have broken an agreement and been doing fraud, (I think I have to say), and made me not get food, and made me get a lot of new grey hair, and you also made me have a protest due to the missing payment/fraud, yesterday.

You don’t seem to take people serious.

It’s really no change in my income.

I don’t get any income from my two small businesses, since they don’t earn money yet.

So this is really just dumb.

I’ve been told at the Jobcentre in Williamsson Sq., a couple of years ago, that there is no limit on how long I can claim Jobseekers Allowance.

I asked about this since I was curious due to the Finance Crises.

But now you write about the tax-years 2006 and 2007.

I worked at Arvarto, (first for Randstand and then for Arvato), from 2005 to 2006.

And then as self-employed untill 2008.

So I have been working for many years in the UK.

So I have the right to Jobseekers Allowance like I’m from the EU, I’ve been told by EFTA.

What I am supposed to do now?

Your missing payment have left me with no money, and I have no income from my two businesses.

You punish me for showing initiative, and try to start businesses, I think.

My food and electricity is soon running out.

What am I supposed to do?

How can you make mistakes like this?

    Erik Ribsskog

And this invetion, is my own invention, which I made in 2011, I think it must have been, when I made my own web-shop-solution, after all the attacks on the osCommerce web-shop).

Because if you inform about decitions almost a month later, then people are going to be misarable, and desperate, because they aren’t going to understand anything, and they are going to be hungry, and worry about how to pay their bills, to get money for food, etc.

You say I have to send the forms no later than five days after my sign-in-day.

But my sign-in-day was Thursday last week, and that’s already more than five days ago, today, and I got your letter today.
I also think it’s like the Jobcentre have tried to trigger a reaction from me, (like I write in my e-mail yesterday), since you just stop sending my Jobseekers Allowance from 17/8.

You should have told me this well in advance of 17/8 then.
But you tell me this on 7/8.

I would please like to you to have a look at that fact, in case you forget it in all the other information here.

Because if you inform about decitions almost a month later, then people are going to be misarable, and desperate, because they aren’t going to understand anything, and they are going to be hungry, and worry about how to pay their bills, to get money for food, etc.

    Hi,

some boys were calling at the calling on my door three times now.
I was just at Farmfoods and spent the voucher I got in the post from you today, so I know the gate was closed.
The old guy in 9 Keith Court said it was some 'boys'.
So I think the lock should be changed in the gate.
But I haven't gotten a key for it.
Because I checked all the six keys I got from you, when I moved in, in May.

And none of them worked on the gate.
But the lock isn't proper so one can get in without a key.
And the code-display is a bit confusing.

If one get the wrong keys, and no information.

It maid me think I needed a code, like I've reported to you earlier.
    Just as an update.
Thanks again for the voucher 🙂

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

it says in your letter that I'd get a voucher in the New Tenant Meeting.

So that should be at your office then I think.
It says in your letter: 'To show our appreciation for your time, if you complete and return our New Tenant Survey to us we will give you £10 in high streets vouchers at _your_ New Tenant Visit within the next few weeks'.

I've marked 'your', because it should be _mine_ visit at your office then, surely.
And not your visit at my address.
It's like an inspection I haven't asked for this, I think.

And an invasion of my privacy.
    I didn't like that.
    This seems strange to me.
Sarah didn't even want the form.
That was supposed to go to another office, she said.

And your letter, with the quote in was from 6/9.
So it makes no sense, because Sarahs visit was on 10/9, two or three days after I got the letter.
I don't this add up, because she didn't want to give me a voucher.

And she didn't want the form that came with the letter with the quote.
So this is something akward, I think.
I think you should treat people like adults.

People don't need visits like this.

Get a general enquiry e-mail, and they'll just send you an e-mail if they wonder about something.
Sorry if I'm harsh, but I've rented both in Norway and the UK a lots of times earlier, and have never heard of New Tenants Visits.

I'm not sure if I think that's a good idea, with those meetings.
It's like you patronise people, then I think.
I haven't gotten a key for the gate.

But the lock is very easy to open with ones fingers, without a key.
    So the security isn't fine.
I think you should inform people when they move in that the code isn't being used.

I can try to paint the roof myself, after the electricians.
I don't want to be unreasonable, and ask you to send repair-people here all the time.
    So that's alright.

I just don't want to get the blaim for this bad repair at a later stage.
I also think you should put a general enquiry e-mail address on your web-site.
Sarah told me you bought these flats from Serenity, some years ago.

And that Serenity used them for older people.
But you rent them to 'normal' people.
But the community-care-system is in all rooms.
You should inform people when they move in, that the community care system is from Serenity.

I don't understand why you kept that community care-system.
The people at their central can hear anything that's being said in the flat, I think.
And when I moved in, I didn't understand what does strings were, and I pulled one to see what they were connected with and someone started talking to me on the community-care.

I think this is a bit strange.
But anyway, thanks very much for your e-mail.
Like I told Sarah I never thought I'd live this close to Goodison Park.
My mother was an au-pair in the UK, in the late 60's, and she supported Everton.

So I also started supporting Everton, since I lived with my mother, in the 70's.
So it's very fun to have a view to Goodison Park, I think 🙂
    Thanks again for your e-mail!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Dear Mr Ribsskog,

Thank you for your email. I would like to take to opportunity to reply to the points you have raised and hopefully resolve any queries.

I am sorry for any confusion over the gate security. I have spoken to Sarah who has informed me that the code is no longer in use,
but that each resident has been issued with a key to lock/open the gate. Please let me know if you do not have the relevant key.

Regarding your electricity key, LHT do not have any role in providing electricity keys, as this relationship is between the electricity
provider who you select and yourself. If any of your wiring or sockets etc were faulty we would repair these. I am sorry to hear that you were without electricity for a period, but am pleased to hear that you have been able to resolve this.

I have raised the issue of chewing gum whilst speaking to customers with the relevant officer and apologise if any offence was caused.

You have asked about why Sarah attended with the contractors. As Sarah explained she was attending to carry out your New Tenant Visit.
This is a standard visit which is carried out for new Tenants in the first few months of the Tenancy at the property, to ensure that new Tenants have moved in and are settling in ok, and that the property is being looked after, and basically see if there are
any problems that we can help address. The nature of this visit means that it has to be carried out at the property and not in the office. The reason Sarah came at the same time as the contractors was to try and minimise the disruption to yourself as we are
aware that you value your privacy as you have mentioned. This meant that we only had to disturb you once rather than Sarah coming separately. I hope this clears up any confusion regarding the visit. The reason Sarah didn’t take the form is because this goes
to a separate department in LHT who issue the voucher. I will forward your scanned form to them, and I thank you for taking the time to complete it.

I have noted the picture you sent of the smoke detector and I agree that this seems to have been poorly finished. I can arrange to
have this rectified if you wish, but I note that you have said you do not want the contractors to come out again. Let me know if you want us to arrange an appointment to make good the painting.
