    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail!
I don't understand, is it because I'm from Norway or because I'm to old, or because I'm over-qualified.
(It isn't that many new jobs in the summer holiday, so I had to apply for some trainee-jobs as well).

It isn't really a mint-shop any longer, maybe you spoke with Packaging Europe, it's a sweet-shop.
    Best regards,

    Hi,

I saw your ad on the jobcentre website, about the Norwegian Speaking

    Telephone Researcher vacancy.

I'm a native Norwegian who has been linving in the UK for almost three

    years.

In Norway I've been working for many years a store-manager, so I'm

    used to working with customer-support.

In England I've been working more than a year on behalf of Microsoft,

activating Windows for Scandinavian customers over the phone.

In this job I recieved a lot of Swedish calls, and because of this, and

because the Swedish and the Norwegian langauges are quite similar,

I've learnt to speak Swedish fluently, so I would also be able to take

    Swedish calls if thats needed.

I would also be able to take calls in Danish and English.

I really need a job at the moment, so if you contact me back, I would

be able to start in the job immediately.

I would also be able to work extra in busy periodes.

I've attached my CV for more details.

    Thanks in advance and regards

    Hi,

thank you very much for explaining about this!

I have been unemployed, during the recetion now, since November 2008, so I think it's a bit strange, that you did this change with the debt now, after I've been unemployed for more than two years.

But at least I've got that explained now, so that's ok, I guess.
What initisiated this, from me, was that I think I perhaps should have had Income Support, (and perhaps Council Tax-benefit and Housing Allowance), from when I worked as self-employed, as a Company Researcher, on behalf of Packaging Europe, in Norwich, from March 2007 to November 2008.

Could you please tell me if it's to late for me, to apply for Income Support, for the years 2007 and 2008 now?
(Since I think I perhaps was a bit under-paid at Packaging Europe.

If one did the research as thorow as one were told, then one would use hours on one company, (at least in the start), and only gotten paid around £1).

Where as agencies they used must have had another work-instrucs/tariff, I think, since they only added one product, for each company, (I noticed when I reviewed them), when they were meant to put all the products the packaging-company sold, on the database.

Anyhow, I don't think I got the equivalent of minimum-wage in this job.
But I send a copy e-mail to the Jobcentre, since I guess they are the right organisation to bring this up with.

    Thanks again for clarifying this!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

Thank you for your recent email regarding your Council Tax account arrears.

The balance indicated (£532.21) is the total debt outstanding on your account, for the 2007/08 and 2008/09 financial years.

Only the 2007/08 debt had been passed to the bailiffs for recovery: taking into account the payments you have already made, the balance on that part of the debt is the lower amount of £36.50.

It is the Authority's standard policy, when it is confirmed a debtor is in receipt of an appropriate State Benefit, to recall from the bailiffs and set for direct deductions from that benefit. This falls in line with the Authority's anti-poverty strategy policy, where we avoid the most vulnerable citizens incurring additional costs and fees, and are able to set up an affordable and secure repayment arrangement.

I trust this reply is satisfactory. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Hi Tim,

thank you very much for your e-mail!
The webshop hasn't got that high turn-over yet, so I can handle it myself now.
Maybe a contract packing-company could handle it, if I ordered the sweets sent to them?

And then, later, when I knew they'd gotten the goods, then I could have sent them the orderes?
(Also, if the turn-over gets to high I could also just put the prices up, so I can control the business like that as well).

Just trying to be a bit in advance here 🙂
Thank you very much again for you reply!
I have to work more on the web-shop, to make it successful.
Now I have like 3 orders a day.

I need like 5 to 10 times this, I think.
Thank you very much again for your e-mail!

    Hi Erik,

I’m very pleased to hear your venture is beginning to work well. Congratulations!

To be honest, I’m not quite sure that ‘packaging’ companies would be able to handle your requirements. There are ‘contract packers’ which handle the packaging (and often the manufacturing) for another company but I don’t know of any contract packer that orders in goods, packs and sends them. I’m sure such companies do exist but they cross the border from packaging to distribution / mail order and I’m afraid I don’t know very much about that business sector.

If I do find anything that seems relevant to you, I’ll let you know.

    Hi Tim,

my business-idea, now seems to work.

I now get several orders, from Norway, each day, from my newly designed webshop:

I'm trying to stay a bit ahead.

I could get a lot of sales from Norway, (and also rest of Europe later), if I keep the prices low, etc.

I'm looking for a company who can handle the goods.

    That is:

    – Order glacier mint/m&m's/jelly beans/Pontefract Cakes, etc.

    – Send these to the customers in Norway, after I e-mail the customer information and order-information.

I seem to remember that in the packaging-industry, there are companies like this.

Could you please recommend a company like this, (hopefully not to expensive), in the UK?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Say hi to Irina even if she has quit now, I think(?)

    Hi,

I shop in the Tesco-shop in Liverpool One, (the Super shop), since it's the shop with most 'order-lines', in Liverpool City Centre, and you have low prices, on your 'value'-line.

    (I'm unemployed you see).
There is a problem, with that almost every time I go to that shop, (this was also a problem on Thursday, and also in 2010, like one can see in my forwarded e-mail).

Why are you also out of carrier-bags?
I also shop at Aldi, Lidl and Home Bargains, and they are never out of carrier-bags.
I've also been a shop-manager in the Rimi-chain, in Norway, from 1998 to 2002, and if we had forgotten to order carriers, then we drove and collected them at another Rimi-shop.

This is a re-occouring problem at this Tesco-shop.
How can there be a shortage in carrier-bags?
I've also worked in packaging, on behalf of Packaging Europe, in Norwich, and I know that there are thousands of suppliers of carrier-bags, in Europe.

This must be a manager-problem at Tesco Hanover St., (the Super shop), I think.
There's nothing super about a shop which haven't got carriers.
So you should maybe call it 'almost Super Shop'.

    Something like that.
And please don't ask me to call you again about this.
If you can't write it in an e-mail, it's because you have something to hide, it seems to me.

This is very poor customer-service by Tesco!
    Regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

this isn't about the carrier-bags, this is about the harrassment.

I also mentioned which shops it was in the subject-line.

I've been working as a shop-manager in Norway, and I know that only old

women brings old bags to the shop.

I would sometimes sit in the check-out, and I asked everyone, 'do you want a

    carrier'.

And sometimes men would reply, 'Of course I want a carrier, do you think I'm

an old woman ("gammel kjærring" in Norwegian)'.

I don't think you take my complaint seriously.

And your spelling isn't even right.

Could you please escalate this complaint, as I've overheard that I'm being

used as a 'target guy', I think this could be some mobster-activity.

I've also had more or less similar complaints against Tesco from before,

    which you neighter took serious.

So I'm going to put a lawyer on you if you don't take this serious now, if I

    get the oppertunity later.

My patience with you is ran out, unfortunately.

Bag for life, and poppy-bags, this isn't what I contact you about, it's the

    harassment.

Is this so difficult for you to understand?

Bags for life and poppy-bags are fine.

But only as long as you also have the regular bags.

But you have made this into a discussion about bags, when it really is about

harrassment, so you just make me more annoyed really.

Is 'customer-support' something that your company don't know what means?

    Hi,

I'm refering to the letter from Mr. Anthony Nugent, from 25/2, which I received today.
I don't want to be unreasonable, and I don't want to have a threath of being thrown out, hanging over my head, (since this is stressing I think, and I haven't got anywhere else to live), so I'm going to say it's ok, that the Housing Benefit is being sent to the landlord, since I have a high level of arrears.

But, the reason for this, is because I was underpaid, when I worked as self-employed, on behalf of Packaging Europe, in Norwich, a few years ago.

And also because my landlord is very slow, with doing repairs.

They use like one or two years to fix the boiler, and many months to fix the washing-machine.
I'll just get by on my budget, but what am I going to do the next time e.g. the washing-machine breaks down, I'm wondering.

    But that's a different case, I guess.
So I'll just contact the Council again then, about disrepair, if that continues.
Because I've had to buy a washing-machine, and dis-washers, (since it's only one sink in the kitchen, so I thought it was un-hygienic, not to have a dis-washer here, when I moved in, because that sink is for waste-water, and then shouldn't be used for cleaning dishes in I think, it's also very dirty and someone have tried to cut their wrists in it, I think, because the plastic-sink has knife-cuts, several of them, in it).

So I've had tu buy washing-machines and dish-washers and furniture, (since the flat wasn't that well furnitured, even if it was supposed to be), and also electric heaters, from Argos, since the wall-mounted heaters here don't work.

I've been living here for almost five years now, and the landlord haven't inspected for things that needs to be repaired, of lights and heaters in the bath-room etc.
But I haven't got anywhere else to live, so I'm going to say it's ok with this arrangement, that the landlord gets my housing benefit sent from the Council.

Because I don't want to live under the treath of being thrown out, that's a bit stressing, I think.

So I also send a copy of this e-mail to the landlord.

I'm going to send you the form, about the noise from G-bar, to the Council, one of the next days.

I also wonder why I haven't got any documentation, from the inspector, from the Council, who was here, 3 or 4 weeks ago, regarding the inspection of disrepair, from this landlord.
Thank you again for your letter, and sorry about that I got angry, when I read your last letter, if I happened to use any bad language, I try not to do that.

    Sorry again!
    Yours sincerely,
    Erik Ribsskog
    Flat 3, Hope Chambers
