Extra-job, every second Saturday, while I was in the army.
Duties included: Operating the cash-register.
August 1993 – June 1994, Rimi Nylænde, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time, (after I finished the conscription-service in the Army).
Duties included: Operating the cash-register. Filling the shelves.
June 1994 – January 1995, Rimi Nylænde, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time. Team-Leader.
Duties included: Supervising the work. Opening and closing the shop. Filling the shelves.
January 1995 – May 1996, Rimi Nylænde, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time. Assistant Manager.
Duties included: Supervising the work. Opening and closing the shop. Filling the shelves. Ordering stock. Managing the shop in holidays.
May 1996 – October 1998, Rimi Bjørndal, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time. Assistant Manager. (Promoted to work in a larger shop).
Duties included: Supervising the work. Opening and closing the shop. Filling the shelves. Ordering stock. Managing the shop in holidays. Responsible for the bookkeeping for the in-shop bookmaker-machine.
October 1998 – August 2000, Rimi Nylænde, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time. Shop-manager.
Duties included: Managing the shop. Supervising the work.HR-responsibility. Go to meetings for shop-managers. Keeping the budgets for turnover, salary and profit. Filling the shelves. Managing projects like starting with in-shop bookmaker-machine (Operated by the Norw. Government), moving the fruit-department. Programme to reduce loss due to theft and stock running out on date etc. (that went very well).
August 2000 – May 2001, Rimi Kaldbakken, Oslo, Norway.
Full-time. Shop-manager. (Promoted, since I kept Rimi Nylænde on budgets. This shop used to be an ICA Supermarket, and had it's own staffed meat-department etc).
Duties included: Managing the shop in a 'modern' way with manager-meetings and employee-meetings. Supervising the work. Managing loss-reducing programmes. Filling the shelves. Responsible for fruit and chilled food. Keeping budgets. HR-responsibility.
May 2001 – August 2002, Rimi Langhus, Ski, Norway.
Full-time. Shop-manager. (In this shop, I won a manager-award, 'Rimi Gullårer', in 2001, that only a handfull of Rimis 500 managers win each year, for good resulst in key-areas like that we sold more fruit and own label brands and that each cusomer bought more, compared with the year before).
Duties included: Managing the shop in a 'modern' way with manager-meetings and employee-meetings. Supervising the work. Filling the shelves. Responsible for fruit and chilled food. Keeping budgets. HR-responsibility.
After this, I started studying at University-level again, since some problems, at Rimi Kalbakken, with the directors in the company, made me come to the conclusion, that I would do better outside of the company, than in it, since I wasn't threated fairly, I think, even if I'd worked in the company, for many years.

Personal Profile:
I’m a hardworking and committed person who has very good management and communication skills.
I’ve studied Computing, (with some Management, Marketing & Economy-modules), at University-level.
In 2001 I received an award, ‘Rimi Goldmines’, in shop-management in Norway. An award that only a handfull of Rimi’s 500 shop-managers receive every year.
At school, I was always one of the best in my class, and in 1988, I was allowed to study in the county of Buskerud, Norway, although I lived in the neighbouring county of Vestfold. This was because I was one of the ten best students that year.
Work:

(Working as a freelancer, doing research on Scandinavian companies in the
packaging-industry for a database, www.packagingdatabase.com, on behalf
of Packaging Europe, Norwich). In this role, I called companies in Scandinavia,

I was answering phone-calls, from Microsoft’s Scandinavian
customers, who wanted help with activating Windows and other
Microsoft-programs, over the phone. This job ended, due to that
the contract ran out, and I didn’t want to work there any longer,
eighter, due to problems with a lot of bullying from managers, etc.,
so I found a new job, instead.
August 2005 – June 2006, Randstad Employment Agency, Liverpool.
Multi-lingual Contact Centre Representative on Bertelsmann Arvato’s
Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation-campaign.In this job, I did
the same as in the above job, but I was employed by an employment-
agency.
March 2005 – July 2005, Løvås Farm, Larvik, Norway.
Farm-work on a farm owned by relatives in Norway.
(Due to problems with getting my home university to approve the modules
from the University of Sunderland, and the study finance from Norway
was delayed due to this.). I ended working in this job, due to that I
moved to the UK.
June 2003 – August 2004, Rimi Langhus, Ski, Norway.

studying full-time, and had the job above, as well.

was only an extra-job as well.
February 1995 – August 1995, Norsk Idrettshjelp, Oslo, Norway.
Telemarketing, part-time. I ended this job, since it was only to pay for my driving-
lessons, and it was only an extra-job, besides my full-time job.
January 1995 – May 1996, Rimi Nylænde, Oslo, Norway.

PS.
Erik Ribsskog
