    Hi,

    thanks for the e-mail!
I couldn't see any attachments, but the website is quite high ranked with Google, I think, so that's ok I guess.
I was at a programme with Sencia, some time back, and they started talking about founds for marketing, but the web-shop wasn't that good then, so I didn't want to market it already, at the beginning of last year.

So I think that was why I asked Ingeus about self-employed-programme, to check if there was similar founding-opertunities, for marketing, as Sencia mentioned.
Also I was wondering if I should be on a programme for self-employed people, with the Job-centre.

Since I've been working with this web-shop since the automn of 2010, I think it was, that is before I started to go to Ingeus, on the Work Programme.
So that might have been the reason for me being sent to Elect, because I asked Ingeus about the things mentioned above.

But I'll be there for the meeting, the week after next.
When it comes to the expenses, then the reason it isn't a profit for the web-shops, is that some of the costs are fixed, some are to do with samples for pictures, which I'd say is marketing, and some costs are like start-up-costs, since I've had to move between Liverpool and Sunderland, a couple of times, in the last months, due to Landlord-complaint-cases, etc.

But before the next meeting, I thought I could set up book-keeping, for each delivery, so to show the profit-margin better.
Just something I thought about after the meeting today.

    Hope this is alright!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

is it alright, if I deal with the Sencia-complaint in writing?
(That company gives me a bit 'the creeps', I think they are to 'New Age').
    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Hi,

I thought more about this now.
And I don't really want to go to a meeting about this.
I have explained my complaint in writing.
And I think the name of your building, Cotton Exchange, sounds like something to do with slave-trade.

I don't think companies who operates from buildings with names like that are fine always.
So I hope it's alright we deal with this in writing.
(I also know someone from an employment-case I have, who work in that building, who I don't want to meet, (on behalf of Lufthansa), in case she'll say I'm stalking her, like I've explained to the Jobcentre).

    Hope this is alright!
    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I called your office just now, on 0151 236 2772, to discuss a letter from the Department of Work and Pensions, which I received earlier this week.

I was told you weren't in today, but I was given your e-mail address.

I was told in the mentioned letter, that you wanted a meeting, to discuss the CV I got from Sencia, and the problems that I've written about to the Jobcentre.

    Best regards,

  • Sencia-møte i Cotton Exchange-bygningen

    Men men.

Lurer på hva som egentlig foregikk da liksom.

Hu sa bare at hu var ‘sjuk’.

    Men men.

    Men men.

Men vi får se hva som skjer.

    Vi får se.

    Mvh.

    Hi,

I'm refering to Mr. John Uptons letter, from 13/1.
He writes that he has contacted Sencia, about my complaint, and they tell him three lies, I think I have to say, that's why I'm trying to escalate this.

Mr. Upton writes that Sencia tells him:
'a. Their CV stated that you ahve industry specific IT skills':

    This isn't right at all.

Mr. Ellis, at Sencia, insisted he wanted to assess my IT skills, which are these:
IT-skills: (Java, Pascal, Pearl, Machine-code, wed-design, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Linux, System/Network-administration, System-development, Computer-security, E-Commerce, Relation Databases, unix, data-modelling, operating-systems, expert-systems, discrete mathematics, statistics, Computer Arcitecure, algorithms and data-structures, Basic).

(I've gone to a Reed CV-writing-course last week, where we learned to assess our skills etc.)

But Sencia just wrote: 'Excellent IT [..] skills'.
That's not industry specific IT skills, and that's not to assess my IT skills like Mr. Ellis insisted and said he would to in my first PA-meeting at Sencia.

'b. The gap in your employment history mentioned on their CV from 2004-2005 was the same as detailed on your CV'.
This isn't the year from my complaint.

This year I was a student, at study abroad, at the university of Sunderland.
My complaint is that Sencia put a gap in my employment history, from May 1993 to June 1994, that doesn't mirror reality.

I don't understand how Mr. Upton ca buy Sencia excuses.
I think if one look at my CV, there isn't a gap for 2004, so how could Mr. Upton buy this explanation from Sencia?

I admit I haven't sent you my CV, with this complaint, but I can attach my last version of my own CV with this e-mail.

And provide earlier versions upon request.
'c. The qualificiations on their CV are the same as on your CV':
This isn't true at all, I have no qualification from NITH, on my CV.
    Only from Oslo University College.

So 'c' is something Sencia have made up, I'm afraid I have to say, (since they have added a Foundation Degree in Information Management, on their CV, which I don't have in real life).

I've tried to get Sencia to correct the mistakes on my CV, because I wanted to be on level with my Personal Advisor, but they just refused.
I think they should add an error/mistake-editing procedure, to their CV-making-process.

Since they really just make a CV, and that's it.

Where as e.g. Ladders have an error/mistake-editing procedure, I've read about on the Ladders website.

So Sencia just produce low-quality CV's, it seems to me, if I dear to be honest and a bit direct in this.

Hope that you can have a second look at my complaint.
Even if I'm finished with Employment Zones at Sencia, I don't want to have on my reputation that I write complaints that are wrong, (when I think this comlaint is really right).

    Hope this is alright!
    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog
