    Hi,

I'm refering to the voicemail, left by Mark, from the Jobcentre, Williamsson Sq., Liverpool, yesterday.

My mobile-phone is out of credit, so I didn't get to call you back.

The library at University of Sunderland let me use the internet, since I'm an old student here, from 2004/05.

Can you please reply by e-mail?

I was thrown out by the Landlord, (and Liverpool County Court), due to a dispute, (and even if I complained to the Parliamentary Ombudsman, etc), and moved to Sunderland, since I've been in contact with the student helpline here, regarding further studies, and to speak with accommodation here.

I went to the Williamsson Sq. Jobcentre, on Wednesday, before I moved to Sunderland, but I wasn't allowed to sign one day early, unfortunately.

I'm now in Sunderland, and a bit low on cash, so I hope I can get my Jobseekers Allowance, on Tuesday, as usual.

I've sent copies of all my job-applications the last two weeks, to Mr. Nesbit, at Ingeus, and can forward them to the Jobcentre as well, on request, so that you can see that I've done my obligations, in regards to my Jobseekers Agreement, etc.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Men men.

    Så sånn var det.

    Mvh.

    Erik Ribsskog

    PS 2.

    Her er mer om dette:

    img194 paint

    PS 3.

    Men men).

    Så sånn var det.

    Bare noe jeg tenkte på.

Men vi får se hva som skjer.

    Vi får se.

    PS 5.

    Her er mer om dette:

    img195

    PS 6.

    Men men.

Because, they have invented a fan there.

That was behind the bin, that fell.
    But I haven't touched a fan.
    I haven't seen a fan there.
And I haven't heard the bin fall on any fan.

So it must have been a cat there as well, I think, in the bin.
That made a lot of noise so that I didn't hear the fan got crushed.
So when they invent a fan, then I can invent a cat, I think.

It was about the cat in bin, on the telly, all the time, and I was very tired, so I think it could have just been my sub-consience trying to help the cat there, or something.
    Something like this.

    I didn't see a fan at least.
    Nor hear one.
Like I think I would have if they told the thruth.

    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail.
I think I also should update with you.

And I've sent ICE, on Monday, I think it was, a complaint against the same Jobcentre, on Williamson Sq., with 16 complaints, in connection with the same case.

That is, both complaints are linked to the same Employment Zones-meeting, in June.
But, the new complaint is regarding a sanction I got, and the 'turbulence' surrounding this sanction, that I thought was unfair, and got over-turned.

This new complaint has gone through all three stages of the formal Jobcentre complaint process, and got to you, the other day.
Maybe these complaints should be investigated collected, was my thought surrounding this.

Thank you very much again for you e-mail.
    Yours sincerely,

    Dear Mr Ribsskog

I am writing to provide an update, in respect of the complaint you made to this office on regarding the way in which the Jobcentre Plus had administered your case. I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge receipt of your e mails dated 27 October 2010 and 2 November 2010.

When we accept a complaint for examination, our first step is to try to resolve the issues without the need for a full examination of all the evidence. This approach can often lead to a positive and comparatively speedy outcome. Our aim is to mediate and reach an agreement with both the complainant and the Jobcentre Plus the steps to be taken to address the complaint to the complainant’s satisfaction.

Exceptionally, some cases are not suitable for progression by this method. Having reveiwed your complaint, it is clear that in order to address your concerns we need to see the evidence surrounding your complaints. You will wish to be aware that we wrote to the Jobcentre Plus on 3 November 2010 to request your case papers, which will be used to inform our examination of your complaint.

Your complaint was agreed and defined as follows:

A: On 20 May 2010 Jobcentre Plus (JCP) informed you that you would have to attend an interview on 3 June 2010. It informed you that this was regarding ‘Employment Zones’ but failed to explain what this was or to provide you with the correct literature regarding this. As a result you were not prepared when attending the meeting.

B: The literature that you received from Sencia (Your Employment Zone provider) contained three different addresses. JCP failed to mark which was the correct one causing you to miss an appointment, and as a result your Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) was stopped. JCP has failed to fully investigate this.

C: JCP has informed you that a degree you obtained from Oslo University was the equivalent of HND level 4. You have advised that it should be level 5 but it has failed to fully investigate this.

D: On 1 July 2010 you were asked to attend your fortnightly signing on appointment Williamson Square Jobcentre at 11.15 on 14 July 2010. You were not informed that this would also be a sanction meeting and, when attending this appointment, you were informed that you should have been there at 9.30.

E: You have asked JCP to clarify why you were interviewed by two people instead of one at the above meeting. It has failed to provide a satisfactory response.

Once the evidence is received the examination of the case will not begin immediately as cases are in a queue and dealt with in date order. Until a case officer is available we aim to keep in touch with you on a regular basis. You should have received information about our service standards when you initially approached this office. If you require further information please contact us.

As soon as a case officer can start the examination of your complaint, he or she will contact you direct, to give you the opportunity to discuss your complaint in more detail. In the meantime, Lorraine Yates will be your point of contact for any matters connected with your complaint to the Independent Case Examiner. Should you need any further advice, you can get in touch with Lorraine Yates by telephoning 0151 802 3022.

In the meantime, should you wish to provide this office with any further information or evidence in relation to your complaints, we will use the details you provide, along with that provided by the Jobcentre Plus, to inform our examination of your complaint.

    Yours sincerely

    Linda Foster

    Resolution Officer

    Hi,

    yes.
On A, I would have written it like this:
(Your version: A: On 20 May 2010 Jobcentre Plus (JCP) informed you that you would have to attend an interview on 3 June 2010. It failed to inform you that this was regarding ‘Employment Zones’ or to provide you with the correct literature regarding this. As a result you were not prepared when attending the meeting.)

    My verison:
A: On 20 May 2010 Jobcentre Plus (JCP) informed you that you would have to attend an interview on 3 June 2010. You were told that the meeting was regarding Employment Zones, but the Jobcentre, failed to inform you what Empolyment Zones was, and to provide you with the correct litterature, regarding this. As a result you felt socialy alienated, and were not prepared when attending the meeting.

On B, one can say that the Jobcentre Plus-employee, failed to mark/circle the right address, in the folder.
    (To be more spesific).

She also failed to give me the referal letter to Sencia, but as I've understood it, from the e-mail I'm answering, that's going to be in a new complaint.
Thank you very much for your e-mail by the way, and I hope you can amend A and B again.

    Complaints C, D and E, I'm happy with now.
    Hope this is alright!
    Best regards,

Further to your recent Email of 29 September 2010, I am writing to clarify the elements of complaint we will now take forward.

Having read your correspondence I have now amended elements ‘B’ & ‘D’ accordingly and have now clarified your elements of complaint as follows:

A: On 20 May 2010 Jobcentre Plus (JCP) informed you that you would have to attend an interview on 3 June 2010. It failed to inform you that this was regarding ‘Employment Zones’ or to provide you with the correct literature regarding this. As a result you were not prepared when attending the meeting.

B: The literature that you received from Sencia (Your Employment Zone provider) contained three different addresses. JCP failed to advise you which was the correct one causing you to miss an appointment, and as a result your Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) was stopped. JCP has failed to fully investigate this.

E: You have asked JCP to clarify why you were interviewed by two people instead of one at the above meeting. It has failed to provide a satisfactory response.

I would just like to explain that I have noted your other comments in your Email of 29 September 2010 and can confirm that the remaining points that you have raised will be covered as part of our investigation into the elements listed on the previous page. For this reason I have only amended elements ‘B’ and ‘D’ from my original letter of 29 September 2010.

I confirm the elements of complaint detailed above will form the basis of our examination. If you agree that your complaint has been accurately defined please contact me as soon as possible, it would be preferable if you could telephone me to avoid any delay. If you feel this letter does not accurately reflect your complaint, please contact me by 13 October 2010. We have accepted these complaints on the basis that they have not been the subject of legal proceedings or an Ombudsman’s investigation. If this is not the case, you must tell me. Likewise, if you decide to take this action during our investigation, please notify us.

If I do not hear from you by 13 October 2010, I will assume your complaint has been accurately defined, and your complaint will be passed to the Initial Action Team.

Please note that we are currently experiencing a high volume of complaints, and I hope you will understand that we deal with complaints in the order that we receive them to ensure that we provide a consistent level of service.

Your complaint is currently held in a queue, and as soon as a Resolution Officer is available to start the examination of your complaint, he or she will contact you direct to discuss your complaint, and determine the way forward. You will be given the opportunity, if necessary, to provide this office with any further information or evidence in relation to your complaint.

    Hi,

    thank you for your e-mail!
I answer by e-mail, since I had some problems, with the phone-call, in an earlier ICE-complaint, against the same Jobcentre.

    Hope this is ok!

    To the complaint:
I also think that we have the complaint, that Mr. Winther, jobcentre-manager, didn't inform me about the meeting there, in 14/7.
I only went there to have a sign on-meeting, so I was un-prepared, for the sanction-meeting.

(And Mr. Winter had a meeting like that again, on Thursday last week, where he just 'grabs' hold of me, to have a meeting, in stead of telling me in advance, that he want's a meeting).
I think they shouldn't have sign on-meetings and other meetings mixed up.

Because, when they have two meetings, after each other, (and sometimes three), without a break, then one loses one consentration more, in the latter meetings.

Also, I think this is a sign of dis-respect, to have these un-scheduled meetings.

Because job-seekers also have schedules, even if they are un-employed.
And it says in the Jobcentre 'Our Services Standards', that job-seekers should expect to be treated with respect.

And I don't think that Mr. Winther treats me with respect, when he grabs hold of me, for un-scheduled meetings, like I explained about, in complaint 4, in my e-mail to you, from 23/7.
So I think this should be added, in a complaint F.

    Regarding 'A'.
I was told that I was going to have an Employment Zone-meeting, on 3/6, (on the sign on meeting a fourthnight before).
But, I didn't really know what Employement Zones was.

So I felt a bit socialy alienatied, actually.
I didn't know what kind of meeting it would be.
So I think I should have been given the information-pack before 3/6, so to not feel socialy alienated and confused/frustrated, (because I couldn't find about Employment Zones on the internet eighter).

    Regarding 'B'.
The sanction have now been over-turned, (after an appeal by me).

And Mr.Winter has written in a letter, that the Employement Zones Jobcentre-representative, would have marked the right address in the folder.

    But she didn't.
(So this is two complaints. The jobcentre-representative, didn't mark the right address.
And, the Sencia-folders are a bit confusing, (for people who are stressed, since they go to many meetings), since they have many addresses in them).

I said in the meeting, on 3/6, that I chose Sencia, because it was close to my home address.
(It's really becuse Read are involved in my employment-case against Bertelsmann, but I didn't want to bring up that, then, since it would have taken a long time to explain).

So the Jobcentre-worker must have understood I meant Sencia Pall Mall, I think.
Still she failed to inform me, in the meeting, that it was Sencia Hanover St., which was the right office.

Mr. Winter has also written to me, and said that the jobcentre-worker from 3/6, should have given me the Sencia referal-letter.

    But this I wasn't given.
I just noted the time, for the Sencia-meeting in my calendre/'filofax', when I was told the time.

And then, the referal-letter, was sent to me, in the post.
So I think the Jobcentre-advisor, understood I was going to Pall Mall, but failed to correct me, (almost as if to 'mob'/trick me, I'm sorry to have to say).

So I think there should be at least a couple more complaints, from what I wrote above.
Do you want me to define them, or do you want me to re-view a new complaint-definition, that you make yourselves?

Thank you in advance for the help!
    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

D: On 1 July 2010 you were asked to attend a meeting at Williamson Square Jobcentre at 11.15 on 14 July 2010. When attending this appointment you were informed that you should have been there at 9.30.

E: You have asked JCP to clarify why you were interviewed by two people instead of one at the above meeting. It has failed to provide a satisfactory response.

    Men men.

    Men men.

    https://johncons-blogg.net/2010/09/jeg-sendte-en-klage-pa-jobcentre-med.html

    PS 3.
