    Hi,

I have a web-shop, and think I should be allowed to be on a programme,

(that I've heard of), for people who wants to start their own companies.

Through the Jobcentre, since I'm unemployed.

The Jobcentre, at Williamsson Sq., in Liverpool, just called my web-shop

    a 'hobby', and ignored it.

Later they put me on the Work Programme with Ingeus, which I'm still on

after the Liverpool County Court threw me out in Liverpool, (after an

unfair process where I didn't get informed about a hearing).

I'm now on the Work Programme with Ingeus in Sunderland.

I think I should be on the programme for people who wants to run their

    own businesses, with the Jobcentre.

Since it doesn't seem to me that the Work Programme is for self-employed

    people:

    Hi again Mary,

I've thought even more about this now.
(Since I'm a job-seeker, I think a bit about my situation, even in the weekends).
This job also asks me to do the custommer-support.

Then I think they go a bit to far.
They want me to be a webshop-designer and a hairdresser and a shop-runner really.
This is three different jobs in one, I think.

    I haven't seen similar job-descriptions before.
I think one have to be like a hairdresser, or something, to answer phone-calls from custommers, regarding the hair-style-brand.

(Which I don't remember the name of now, and I couldn't find on the intenet with Google).
I could have made the web-shop and ran it.
But to answer phone-calls from custommers regarding a hair-style-brand that I think one should be like a hair-dresser, to give expert advice on.

(Since this web-shop only sells this hair-style-brand, and nothing else.
Then I think people expect to get expert-advice when they contact the web-shop about the product).
You said a lot of people had applied.

But how many have skills in Web Design, Shop Running and Hair Dressing?
Is this like a ladders job with more than £50.000 a year?
I think this job is really three jobs in one.

    I can't say that I've seen similar job-descriptions before.
Is this someone pulling my leg, I'm wondering a bit here.
Is this serious or is this like the candid camera? 🙂

Sorry if I send to many e-mails, (I just has this on my mind now, since I'm unemployed, etc).
    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi again Mary,

now I've been thinking more about the job-interview, on Tuesday, in Baron House, in Newcastle.
I think that job is a bit strange now, so I've reconsidered about this.

You want me to build a webshop and then run it.
It's like asking someone to build a building and then run a shop in it, I think.
This is not a real job, I think.
Noone asks anyone to build a building and then run a shop in it.
They ask people to eighter build a building or run a shop.
I think that job is a bit strange, like a 'slave-job', or something.

So I wonder how serious that job is.
I haven't heard about the brand eighter.
So I think that job sounds a bit 'phoney', on second thought.
So after reconsidering it I don't think it's a good idea, to apply for a 'funny' job like that.

It seems unesesesary complicated, I think.
I'll give you back the £5 for the metro-ticket, that you gave me on Thursday this week, on our next apointment on Thursday next week.
    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi Mary,

I've also got some feed-back from my job-search earlier this week.
I've completed the test, which this employer wanted me to complete.
(Even if this is a bit outside of my Key Skills, but there aren't that many Web Design-jobs, so I also apply for other IT-jobs).

So it seems that the CV I have now also works.
The CV I have now was made by Reed in Liverpool, (by Richie there), by the way, last year, I think it was, and I've changed a bit on it.

    Just as an update.

    Hi,

I’m going to the meeting right now, but I’m at the library.

I thought I’d update about my web-shop before I forget.

(And since I think it’s easier to explain in e-mails than in
stream-lined meetings where you have many clients).

It’s like an extra-job, like I said last Thursday.

    Today I had three sales.

I’m wondering what can I deduct from my income.

Am I not really self-employed when I have this shop?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    ok, that’s very fine!

See you on Thursday then, in the next meeting.

And then I’ll do my job-search in the mean-time, and bring the form to that
    meeting.

    Thanks again for the help!

  • Snodig Ingeus

    Hm.

    Mvh.

    Hi,

Liverpool City Council sent me a letter the other day, saying that they want to deduct money, from my Jobseekers Allowance.

However, those arrears are part of an ongoing complaint-case I have against the Liverpool City Council which have even been with the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

To not make this more complicated than necessary, I ask the Jobcenter to wait untill that case is settled, with withdrawing money.

I ask the Parliamentary Ombudsman for more advice regarding this case, as the Liverpool City Council have closed the complaint-file ten days after sending the long letter refered to in the forwareded e-mail, which I think is much to early, and as far as I remember it this breaches the Liverpool City Councils own Complaint Procedure.

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

at the end of last week, I recieved a long letter, about this, from the Council.

The letter was largely rubbish, I think I have to say.

I’ll try to index my complaints.

    1.

You say my claim for Income Support is ‘out of date’.

Where as the Department of Work and Pensions have let me update about my finances for my business many months later.

What counts is when I get aware of what Income Support is.

I have been self-employed and I haven’t had a fixed monthly income, so I couldn’t tell you about how much I’d earn, right away.

I’m also from Norway, and don’t know about Income Support, since Norwegian newspapers don’t write about the British society in detail.

Also, my uncle in Norway, Martin Ribsskog, once told me, that a doctor had given him compensation, years later, when he didn’t know about a Government programme.

So then it should be like this, in this case as well, I think.

This with just saying ‘out of date’, is like something Balderick in Black Adder would have said.

Please don’t f*ck around, Norwegians hate being treated like that, and you are in the EU now, eighter you like it or not.

If you don’t like it then have a go at your politicians instead of having a go at normal people.

I’ve also contacted you about Income Support earlier, in 2010, but then you didn’t reply at all, you just moved my debt back from the Bailiff, or at least part of the debt, since you have kept my dept on one Bailiff account and one secret account it seems.

    2.

You say that you became aware of that I was un-employed when I contacted you about Income Support, in 2010.

But I called you in November 2008 about this, so you are clearly lieing.

You probably write this so as to label me long time unemployed so that moralists are going to mess with me.

Like Baldrick in Black Adder, to get someone Christian to mess with someone, etc.

    3.

You moved my debt, to be withdrawn, from my Jobseekers Allowance, in 2010, but you didn’t put all the debt, on that account.

When I moved from Liverpool, to Sunderland, earlier this year, then suddently around £500 more debt, turned up.

This means someone have messed with my Council Tax-account, I think.

Is Balderick from Black Adder working for you?

Is it the Vatican who don’t like me?

(I remember a woman standing outside of the vatican ’embassy’ in London, blowing sigarette smoke on me, when I went to the Norwegian embassy, in 2007, with an employment case against Bertelsmann Arvato Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation, which the Merseyside Police had stopped answering me about).

Are the Vatican controlling the Liverpool City Council and messing with me because I’m from a protestant country, (Norway), and making secret files there?

    What’s going on?

    Hi,

thank you very much for your reply!

Actually, I also think I should have gotten Income-support. Concil-Tax Benefit and Housing Allowance, from when I was Self Employed, between March 2007 and November 2008.

Since I didn’t earn that much then.

Is it any way I can please get these money now, since I have arrears now, with a lot of companies, dating back from the time I worked as Self Employed.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Dear Mr Ribsskog

Thank you for your email. You still need to complain to the council first I’m afraid. If you would like to discuss the complaints process in more detail you can contact the advice team on 0300 0610614 and an advisor will try and help you.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

I was wondering, before I contact the Council.

Are you aware of that the Parliamentary Ombudsman refered me to the LGO?

I’ve already had a complaint from before, against the Liverpool City Council, and then I just sent e-mails, by the way.

Thanks in advance for clearing up about this!
    Yours sincerely,

    Dear Mr Ribsskog,
Thank you for your complaint against Liverpool City Council (the “Council”).
The law says that, before investigating a complaint, the Ombudsman must normally be satisfied that the Council knows about the complaint and has been given the opportunity to investigate and to reply. Usually, you need to put your complaint through all stages of the Council ’s own complaints process before the Ombudsman can look at it. The attached fact sheet explains this in greater detail.
From the information you have provided it is not clear whether your complaint has been through the Council ’s complaints process. If you have not yet done so, I suggest that you now make a formal complaint, in writing, to the chief executive of the Council. If you are still dissatisfied at the end of the process, you may complain to the Ombudsman.
If you feel that your complaint has already completed the Council ’s complaints process, please call the Advice Team on the number above. It would help if you have with you the Council ’s written response to your complaint when you call as our Adviser will ask you some questions about what the letter says.
I hope this is of assistance. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you will make a complaint to the Council, and we will not contact you again.

    Yours sincerely

    Subject: Regarding my web-shop

    To: Contact-Us@jobcentreplus.gsi.gov.uk

    Hi,

I have a web-shop, (www.godtebutikken.net), where I sell Glacier Mints and other sweets, to Norway, since they’ve quite recently stopped selling Glacier Mints in the shops there.

I haven’t had much money to use on marketing, so I only get about one order a week.

    (Something like this).

Mark, at the Jobcentre, in Williamson Sq., in Liverpool, said the webshop was a hobby, and I didn’t need to update the Jobcentre, about this webshop.

I’ve since moved to Sunderland, since I planned to study here, (I’m an old student from the University of Sunderland).

The University and I have had a dispute, (which I’m not going to go into detail about), so I’m now not going to study anyway.

    So I’m still a job-seeker.

But Anita Ford, at the Jobcentre, here in Sunderland, wanted me to tell the Jobcentre, as soon as I earned money on the webshop.

It’s just a few pounds a month, which I normally earn.

(And I had some loss around Halloween last year).

Do you have any courses in accounting, that I could go on, so that I know which expenses I can deduct etc., for the web-shop?

Since I have to walk to different shops to buy the different sweets, can I deduct like shoes etc., I’m wondering.

Do you have courses regarding running businesses I was wondering.

Hope you can clear up about this, since I don’t have much founds, and don’t want to risk a sanction in my Jobseekers Allowance due to e.g. a misunderstanding surrounding the webshop.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi Paul,

I will be signing for the Jobcentre in the nearest weeks/months at least.

No more places on the Finnish language-studies at the University.

(Only joking I was really trying to get to start studying History or more IT).

So I guess I’m still on the Work Programme.

The Jobcentre here in Sunderland, would also contact Ingeus, regarding this, Anita Ford there told me, on a meeting, on Friday, last week.

Hope this is alright and sorry if I joke to much regarding the Finnish-studies!

    Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hello Erik,

I’ve just returned to work this morning following a two-week holiday. Thanks for keeping me appraised about your situation.

Under the circumstances I won’t expect you in for this appointment. Let me know what happens with regard to Sunderland University or if you will be signing for JSA in the area. I will find out where the nearest Ingeus office is to you.

    Subject: Appointment next week

    Hi,

like I’ve earlier updated about, I’ve had a dispute with my Landlord, in Liverpool, and have had to move.

I had been gived a study-place at my old university, in the UK, University of Sunderland, so I went here.

To top it up I now also have a dispute with the University, it seems, and it’s now more likely that I’ll be a Jobseeker, and not a student, the next time.

It’s a bit far for me to go to Liverpool now, for our appointment on Tuesday, next week.

Do you want me to go to a meeting with Ingeus here in the North East?

I’m going to a meeting on the Jobcentre, here in Sunderland, later today, so I’ll also be updating them about this.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Men men.

    Faar haape det gaar bra).

Jeg tenker jeg laaner meg noen boeker paa biblioteket her, mens jeg er her.

Ogsaa faar jeg oppdatere bloggen igjen imorgen eller paa mandag.

    Vi faar se.

    Mvh.

    Hi,

I'm refering to the voicemail, left by Mark, from the Jobcentre, Williamsson Sq., Liverpool, yesterday.

My mobile-phone is out of credit, so I didn't get to call you back.

The library at University of Sunderland let me use the internet, since I'm an old student here, from 2004/05.

Can you please reply by e-mail?

I was thrown out by the Landlord, (and Liverpool County Court), due to a dispute, (and even if I complained to the Parliamentary Ombudsman, etc), and moved to Sunderland, since I've been in contact with the student helpline here, regarding further studies, and to speak with accommodation here.

I went to the Williamsson Sq. Jobcentre, on Wednesday, before I moved to Sunderland, but I wasn't allowed to sign one day early, unfortunately.

I'm now in Sunderland, and a bit low on cash, so I hope I can get my Jobseekers Allowance, on Tuesday, as usual.

I've sent copies of all my job-applications the last two weeks, to Mr. Nesbit, at Ingeus, and can forward them to the Jobcentre as well, on request, so that you can see that I've done my obligations, in regards to my Jobseekers Agreement, etc.

    Hope this is alright!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I've moved to Sunderland yesteday, and was supposed to sign on at Williamsson Sq. jobcentre, now this morning.

Could you please accept this e-mail as my signature, and please tell me which Jobcentre I should go to in Sunderland, untill I start studying again, as planned.

(So that I get my Jobseekers Allowance like usual on Tuesday).

I live at temp. accommodatin, at Clanny House, at campus, here in Sunderland, and am working with sorting my modules out, before I get a permanent address.

    Hope this is alrigh!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    PS.

I also send a copy e-mail to Ingeus since I'm on the Work Programme with them
