Hi,
the reason I'm contacting you is because I'm trying to get hold of test-results, from when I studied at the University of Sunderland, in 2004/05.
There was a test I took, in 2004, to determine, if I needed to take the module 'English for academic purposes'.
They tell me that they haven't kept the test-results.
I got the best grade, so I didn't take this module, (since study-abroad students didn't have to take this module if they got the best grade).
In job-interviews it could be imagined that employers would ask why one didn't take the language-course.
Therefore, I think it's strange that results aren't kept, since people would want to document the reason for why they didn't have to take the language course.
I got a bit upset at Mr. Brown, since he said high school grades in English in Norway should document this, since I think he must have been pulling my leg a bit, since high school level skills in English from Norway, wouldn't be good enough to study at a English university.
I think Mr. Brown should be serious in his work, and don't make up lots of non-sense, so I also wanted to complain about his jokes or non-sense, I think I have to call it.
I also have test-results from a module call E-Commerce, that I would have wanted, but noone can find at the University, unfortunatly.
Hope that you can have a look at this, and perhaps sort some of this up!

Hi,
I want to complain about Stephenson law-firm, that they don't do the legal aid procedures, like Mr. Thompson, at LSC Liverpool says.
I've earlier complained about Morecrofts and EAD to you.
I don't know why all these three law-firms are seemingly 'messing' with me, but could it be since my employment case is against the big companies Bertelsmann and Microsoft?
Anyway, I'll just try to find a new legal aid solicitor in your database, for my employment-case, in the mean-time.
Please give me feedback regarding what to do, if I think legal aid law firms, don't stick to LSC procedures even if they are in the LSC database for legal aid solicitors.

I called Maureen today, at Liverpool LSC, and got the name of the LSC manager.
I'm getting different directions, you see, from you representative Stuart Thompson, and the law firm.
So I was just wondering if you could tell me one thing.
I've checked that I'm eligable for legal aid, on your calculator, and I was, since I'm unemployed.
And now, I need a reference-number, for legal-aid.
And Mr. Thompson, in LSC, says that the law-firm should get this number.
And the law firm says I should get this number by contacting the LSC.
So we aren't getting anywhere.
So I hope you can clear this a bit up, what the procedure is, regarding for me to obtain a reference number, for legal aid, from where the case is now, it's at where I've checked that I'm eligable for legal aid, on the calculator on your website.
I'm also sending a copy of this e-mail to the solicitors firm.
Subject: Re: Reminder/Fwd: FW: Reminder/Fwd: Employment-case against Bertelsmann Arvato
Hi,
I called LSC Liverpool now, on 0151 242 5200, and spoke with Stuart.
He told me that you should just send it to the LSC, that this was the usual procedure, in cases like this, since you are a registered Legal Aid-programme solicitor-firm.
So it should just be for you to send an application to the LSC, as I understood from Stuart there, today, since I've already checked that I'm eligable for legal aid, using the calculator on their website.
I appreciate that you have assessed your financial merits online and have been informed that your are eligible for legal aid.
Please note that it is essential that you also contact the Legal Services Commission (LSC), on 0845 345 4345, so they can verbally confirm your eligibility and provide you with a
reference number.
Once you have this reference number a member of our team will then be able to provide you with advice.

I called LSC now, and they explained me how to log on, to their website, and answering some questions, that would determine, if I was eligible for legal aid, or not.
And here's what the website said:
As you or your partner are receiving one of the following:
Income Support
Income Based Job Seeker's Allowance
Income-based Employment and Support Allowance
Guarantee Credit
you are automatically financially eligible for the following levels of service:
Legal Help
Help at Court
Immigration cases: Legal Representation before the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal; and the High Court
Asylum cases: Legal Representation before the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal; and the High Court
Family Mediation
Help with Mediation
Other Legal Representation
General Family Help
So it shouldn't be a problem with the legal aid!
That's good news!
I also have a website, where I've published about the empoyment-case.
And in this link, I explain about some of the problems that were going on, but there where also a lot more problems, that I was constructivly dismissed as well, and more:
I post the links, since it was so much problems there, so it isn't easy for me, to summarise it, since there were so many problems going on there, in the one year and three months I worked there.
Hope it's alright that I just refer to the website, but if it's anything I should answer, then please just tell me, and I'll explain it properly!

Hi,
thank you very much for your e-mail!
I was just wondering, shouldn't it be one more number in the phone-number you gave, to call to check if I'm eligible for receiving legal aid?
Is this number to the LSC?
I think I'm eligible because I'm unemployed at the moment, due to the finance-crises, etc., unfourtuntly, even if I have a lot to do, with working on the employment-case and writing a blog etc.
To qualify for legal aid you must be financially eligible and your claim must also have sufficient prospects of success.
In relation to the first requirement I would invite you to call 0845 345 434 to enable an advisor to ask you several questions to determine whether you are financially eligible to receive legal aid.
If you are eligible, you will receive a reference number and you claim can then be assessed.

I've been trying regularly, since 2006, to find some advice, within the legal aid-programme, regarding an employment-case I have, against Bertelsmann Arvato.
There were problems with constructed dismissal, a lot of bullying and harassment from managers, illegal management-methods, etc.
I've published about the employment-case, on this url:

Hi,
thank you for your e-mail.
I hear what you are saying.
I think I should follow the LSC procedure, like I've explained.
Since I'm not a client, officially, with your law-firm yet, as I've understood it.
But the legal aid programme is with the LSC.
So I think I should first and foremost follow the LSC procedures, and escalate there, untill I'm officially a client of a law firm.
So it's now with LSC, so I hope I hear back from them, sooner rather than later, like explained, and I'll update you as soon as possible.
I think I should keep it with LSC Liverpool, since I started bringing it up there, since I live in Liverpool, so I thought that was the right department of LSC.
So that's why I escalated there.
So I'll update you as soon as I hear anything more.
I'm sending a copy of this e-mail to Liverpool LSC, so that they get your message, that this is to do with deadlines.
I must stress that it is essential that you obtain the reference as soon as possible as there is a strict deadline to start your claim at a tribunal.
I am unaware of the nature of your potential claim and I cannot advise on any deadline from the information I have in my possession. However, I would strongly recommend contacting
the LSC, on 0845 345 4345, who can provide you with a reference number immediately.

Hei,

Igjen takk for e-post.

If you have 5 or more debts to recover, instruct us to act now for only £5 plus VAT per Letter Before Action.
This offer is valid until 30th September 2009.You must instruct us to send 5 or more Letter Before Actions to be eligible for this offer.

Hi,
I called Maureen today, at Liverpool LSC, and got the name of the LSC manager.
Hope this is alright!
Yours sincerely,
Erik Ribsskog

Hi,
thank you very much for your e-mail!
What I thought I'll do, is that I'll try to contact Stuarts manager, and then I'll get back to you, sooner rather than lather, I hope.

Hi,
I called LSC Liverpool now, on 0151 242 5200, and spoke with Stuart.
Kind regards

Kind regards

See also Meols Cop for the Southport suburb. Meols (pronounced /ˈmɛlz/) is a village on the northern coast of the Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside, England. It is generally paired with its neighbour, the larger town of Hoylake, situated immediately to the west. Formerly, Meols was in the county of Cheshire. Since 1 April 1974 it has been in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. The 2001 Census recorded the population of Meols as 5,110 (2,380 males, 2,730 females).[1] Contents [hide] 1 History 2 Description 3 Cultural references 4 Transport 5 References 6 External links [edit]History
Meols was named as such by the Vikings; its original name from the Old Norse for ‘sand dunes’ was melr,[2][3] becoming melas by the time of the Domesday Survey.[4] Impressive archaeological finds dating back to the Neolithic period suggest that the site was an important centre in antiquity. Since about 1810, a large number of artefacts have been found relating to pre-Roman Carthage, the Iron Age, the Roman Empire, the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. These include items as varied as coins, tokens, brooches, pins, knives, glass beads, keys, pottery, flint tools, mounts, pilgrim badges, pieces of leather, worked wood and iron tools. They came to be discovered after the beginning of large-scale dredging (to accommodate the needs of the nearby growing seaport of Liverpool) started to cause notable sand erosion along the coastline near Meols. These finds suggest that the site was used as a port as far back as the Iron Age some 2400 years ago, and was once the most important seaport in the present-day northwest of England. Thus trading connections are believed to have reached far across Europe.[5] [6] Many of the present day inhabitants of Meols show Viking ancestry. In 2002, University of Nottingham researchers began investigating the degree of Viking blood still extant in the village.[7] Meols is an amalgam of the two former villages of Great Meols and Little Meols. Both were townships in West Kirby Parish of the Wirral Hundred, becoming part of Hoylake cum West Kirby civil parish in 1894. Great Meols had a population of 140 in 1801, 170 in 1851 and 821 in 1901.[8] The name Little Meols fell out of use in Victorian times, having been absorbed by Hoylake. From 123 inhabitants in 1801 and 170 in 1851, by 1901 at 2,850, its population had outstripped Great Meols.[9] The name Great Meols was still in use up to the 1960s, for instance in postal addresses and on the destination indicators of buses from Chester, but not as the name of the railway station. Little Meols was situated to the west (towards Hoylake), in the area served by Manor Road railway station. Meols was known to be spelt as Meolse[10] up until when the railway station was placed.[citation needed] The error came about at the time of the station’s construction, when rail managers took the spelling of Meols from the Southport suburb of Meols Cop and used it for new signage.[citation needed] [edit]Description
The Railway Inn has an undated boat buried under its car park Meols is mainly residential with a small yacht and fishing community on its Irish Sea shore line. The centre has a small row of shops adjacent to Meols railway station. There is a local community park known as Meols Park Recreation Ground and a Meols bowling green. The Friends of Meols Park are a community group set up in 2007 to help maintain and improve the Recreation Ground. It was home to the cyclist Chris Boardman, winner of a gold medal for Great Britain at the 1992 Summer Olympics, before he moved to Hoylake. In the 1930s a clinker-built boat was discovered in rebuilding the Railway Inn public house. Ground-penetrating radar equipment was used in September 2007 to confirm the existence of the boat. The vessel is believed to be lying beneath approximately 6 ft to 10 ft (2m to 3m) of clay.[11] Professor Stephen Harding, of the University of Nottingham, is seeking funds for an excavation and removal to a museum. [edit]Cultural references
Andy McCluskey of the 1980s electronic music band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) is from Meols. OMD had a track called Red Frame/White Light which referred to the public telephone box between the church and the Railway Inn in Meols. Hidden within the lyrics was the telephone number of the telephone box (6323003). It is claimed that fans would call that telephone number from all over the world. The television sitcom Watching, produced by Granada Television between 1987 and 1993, utilised Meols as a filming location. This was likely due to the fact that the characters Malcolm & Mrs Stoneway lived in the village.[12]
