    Hei,

    Protect Students from Antisemitism
Give Students Freedom from Fear on Campus

    Give NOW
    Dear Erik HomeKåt,

It’s a scary time to be a Jewish student.

As they head back to school, young people deserve to feel safe and supported on campus. But that hasn’t been the experience for many Jewish students since Oct. 7, 2023.

At Columbia University last semester, visibly Jewish students were spat on and subjected to antisemitic rhetoric. One Israeli student was allegedly beaten after confronting a perpetrator that was ripping down flyers of Israeli hostages in the university library.

Give Now to Counter Antisemitism on Campus
An individual reportedly broke into the residence of two Jewish students at Brown University and left a note under their door that read: “Those that live for death will die by their own hand.”

At the University of Denver, one student described the anti-Israel and antisemitic encampment there as “a huge mob... I had them come up into my face and try to hit me.”

My Gift to Keep Jewish Students Safe
In response to the danger Jewish students face from rampant antisemitism, ADL created our Campus Antisemitism Report Card, which can help students and families pick the school where they will feel safest. We also launched the Not On My Campus campaign to empower students, parents and alumni to call for change and outline actions schools can take to implement safety standards.

Students should not be harassed or menaced because of who they are or what they believe.

Please make your first gift now to help keep our students safe.

    Sincerely,

P.S. With students returning to classrooms right now, ADL needs your immediate support to counter the explosion of antisemitism and anti-Zionist activity at colleges, universities and K-12 schools.
