    Bertelsmann
    team-leader sends sexual harassing e-mails

    These
    e-mails are from a girl who was a team-leader with line-management
responsibility for around ten people at Bertelsmann Arvato’s
Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation, in the Cunard Building, in
    Liverpool, UK, in 2006.

The one with the bat translates
to ‘The nasty Miss from Bergen says "have a nice weekend
    ;)"’.

And it has a picture of a bat, which is called
‘flaggermus’, in Norwegian, ‘flying mouse’, in English.

    And
mouse in Norway is a synonym for ‘c*nt’.

    So the picture of the
bat probably means a c*nt that flyes around.

    (She had a
    boyfriend).

(I only knew this girl from work, and never met
    her outside of work).

    Less..

    Well,

    don’t

you think it says a bit about Bertelsmann.

    This team-leader is

obvioulsly to immature, to have responsibility for people.

    I

don’t think people who write cantina like this: ‘CaNTiNa!!!’, should

have manager-responsiblity, because if they write like that, they are

most probably to imature, to have very much people-skills.

    Even

if she’s intelligent, I think she should be more mature, to be a

    manager.

What does this say about the company?

    I’d say,

that it says that something was wrong there, at Bertelsmann Arvato,

when they let a girl, that was immature, manage the Microsoft

    Scandinavian Product Activation-campagn, with line-manager

    responsibility for around 10 people.

    Then they aren’t taking

their employers, who have this manager as a line-manager and

    team-leader, seriously.

    This is what this tells

    me.

    Sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Nope

just you. Yes, she writes informal emails to her team; that doesn’t

make her a bad manager. In the UK, Vivian can be either a male or

female name. Her use of the ‘Venus’ symbol in her signature is

clearly a disambiguation statement (a nice touch which I haven’t seen

    before).

I’m guessing that this is a personal issue (I note

from your CV that you worked there for a while). If so, please don’t

clutter this site by posting rubbish which is of no interest to

    anyone but yourself.

    Ok,

    I

don’t think she should use the Venus-symbol in the company

    e-mails.

    Only on her spare-time.

    This is a summary from

a meeting and shouldn’t be written like it was a child writing

    it.

This is a job, that people need for making their living,

    not some funny spare-time activity.

    Bertelsmann clearly don’t

take their staff seriously, when letting immature girls manage the

    campaign.

A position like this, when you have line-manager

responsibility for around ten people, can be compared with being a

manager of a small or medium-sized company, so people should have a

    bit life-experience.

She’s obvioulsy naiv, one can see it on

the form she writes the e-mail, she trust blindly in the new Managing

Director, who want’s people to only use one door, (or else people

    face disiplinary action).

I have nothing personal against this

    girl.

I only know her from work, and I only focused on the

work when I worked there, I needed the job to pay for the rent and

    food etc.

This is an atempt to whistle-blow about the problems

    in the company.

    Sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

StatCounter: Someone are making a point of, that the Bertelmann Arvato Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation in Liverpool is now moved to Germany.

    PS.

That’s not really the point, the way I see it.

If some Scandinavian and other people are being bullied by managers in Britain or in Germany, that’s more or less the same, the way I see it.

I think the problem is in Bertelsmann.

At least, I don’t think this problem will disappear, if it isn’t brought into light, in the media etc.

I also know that many of the same people that worked at Bertelsmann Arvato, now work in an almost similiar environment.

Working on behalf of Lufthansa, in the Bosch call-center, in the Cotton House, I think it is, in Liverpool.

Who knows if they aren’t being used as whores there as well.

Like I’ve explain I think went on in the Cunard Building here:

    https://johncons-blogg.net/2009/02/liveleak-more-about-product-activation.html

It seems to me, that the Bosch call-center/Lufthansa/Scandinavian girls stuff in the Cotton House, could possibly be a similar type of set-up to the Microsoft/Bertelsmann Arvato/Scandinavian girls in the Cunard Building.

That the same girls that previously were being used as Illuminat-whores, or what it really was, in the Cunard Building, now are being used as Illuminati-whores, or what it is, in the Cotton House.

‘Same shit, new wrapping’, like the Americans says.

And people are probably or possibly being bullied just as much by Bertelsmann in Germany, like they where by Bertelsmann Arvato in Liverpool, on the new Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation, in Germany.

At least we have seen how Bertelsmann operate in Liverpool.

But this is just a small part, of the Bertelsmann company.

We don’t know anything about what’s going on in Bertelsmanns divisions in other parts of the world.

Bertelsmann is a very big company, that employes many tens of thousands of people, all over the world.

And I’ve got messages on this blog, from Arvato employees, complaining about how Bertelsmann operate in Mexico.

And I’ve also read about on Facebook, that one guy thinks they operate like ‘nazis’, in the USA.

So I think this problem is much more widespread, than that it’s just a problem with the Bertelsmann Arvato Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation, in the Cunard Building, in Liverpool, in 2005 and 2006, that’s why I think it’s important to get these problems out in the light of the media etc.

So that’s what I’m trying to achive.

That people get to know what’s going on, so that these problems could be dealt with and put light on.

Because or else, I think the problems are just going to be moved, to other buildings, and to other companies.

So that’s how I think this is.

    Sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

  • LiveLeak: More about product-activation over the phone seeming like a phoney job. And that it seemed like the Nordic women there were whores etc.

Quoted comment by AvgDude2: Typical IS bullshit. Not all coding assignments are equal and the paperwork surround software life-cycle is often incredibly overdesigned making if the most minor of code changes and 2 week project. This happening inside an environment where changes often have to be done immediately to stay on release schedule leads the most productive developers to fix the problem first and do the excessive bullshit paperwork second.

Dickhead managers never get this. They just keep piling on the bullshit process tasks without thinking how those piled on bullshit task eat up precious labor hours that should be used to develop quality software. This is exactly why the best software comes out of small shops or even a single person. The larger the company, the shittier the code in their software because of excessive process that is just designed by assholes obsessed with CYA and replacing high-priced good programmers with low cost shitty programmers. They convince themselves that all the thousands of pages of bullshit software requirements, tech specs, unit testing designs, Quality Assurance designs and summaries somehow are gonna produce good software. They don’t. In fact, they do a better job of building shitty software and shitty software engineers who spend 99% of their time in meetings and filling out paperwork than actually programming.

    Hi,

    this wasn’t about software-development.

This was the Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation.

It’s for the Microsoft-customers who haven’t got an internet-line, or who have activated Windows to many times.

So then they have to call, and speak with a person.

But, as some callers pointed out, there’s really no need to use people to do this job, there’s really no point in product-activation over the phone, some customers said.

    And, we didn’t have a main-goal.

I suspect, that this could be just a phoney job, to get access to young women in an almost scyscraper (Cunard Building) environment.

Young women on the campaign, were crying all the time.

At work, after meatings, in breaks after work.

All of them blond, I’d say.

I think this job, Microsoft Product Activation over the phone could just be an eg. Illuminati set-up to get hold of young, Nordic women etc.

At least with the Scandinavian Product Activation in the Cunard-building in Liverpool, due to the mentioned reasons:

No main goal, customers, who seemed enlightened, said that there was no purpose of product-activation (over the phone), women crying everywhere, and walking with very small steps.

So this could have just been a phoney job to make young, sexy, foreign women to whores, if they weren’t whores from before.

I also heard some Brits, that didn’t belong on the campaign, speaking behind my back, while I sat on the phone.

One wondering why I was there.

The other (none of them belonged in the office, they were ‘successfull people in their 30s or 40s I seem to remember that they seemed like) person said I was there so that to get the Nordic women to stay on the campaign a bit longer before the left.

(Their real job was to be whores, in breaks etc, I suspect).

    Erik Ribsskog

Quoted comment by johncons: The team-leader was treating the staff in an decending way. (Degrading/looking down on them).

She was bullying staff, I think one have to say, by calling them ‘lazy’, in e-mails.

That’s not ok, at least not in Norway.

(And not in the UK eighter, as I’ve understood it).

And it’s not in-line at all with company policy, the Bertelsmann Essentials, (even if these weren’t implemented at Arvato at this time).

Even if a person is a manager, still the person haven’t got the right to treat staff in a degrading way.

    Yours sincerley,

I believe “condescending” is the word you’re looking for.

Yes, that’s right ‘condensending’, I’m sorry I have to practise on my English, I’m from Norway you see.

    Thanks again!
