    Hei,

    dear sir

i refer to your email of 7 june and to your previous

emails, some in norwegian which is not an official language for

    us,

and i refer to the commission answers including an email

from mrs wigbold on 2-9-2009 and a letter from me on

    22-12-2009

unfortunately i find your communications rather strange and

apparently on subjects far from the competences of the

    commission

your suggestion that the commission could make the

liverpool city council or the local government ombudsman pay you

    money

is quite eccentric, and really not a subject for

correspondence, apart from your repeated references to "a sweaty

    gym"

your suggestion that the commission should be seaching

about you on the internet is not understood either

in these circumstances i have reached the conclusion that

the commission will not enter into further correspondence with

    you

on these subjects, to avoid wasting taxpayers money, so any

further such emails will not receive any answer

    Hi,

I'm from Norway, but live in the UK.

Here one can see how some people treats Norwegians in the UK.

They bully me and call me 'Ms', like mobsters, and they suggest to

meet foreigners at a sweaty Gym, instead of replying in writing, like I

    wanted.

I think that some mobsters attacked me at the Liverpool City

Council Gym and that some mobsters in the Council and at the Local

    Government Ombudsman covered it up.

I guess this could be, since I'm Norway.

And according to the EEA-agreement, I have the same rights as

    EU-citizens, in the UK.

So I think you should make the Liverpool City Counil and the Local

Government Ombudsman, pay me a lot of money in compensation, for all their

crap, that I have to take, since I'm from Norway, or why they do this.

    Hi,

ok, I guess it's nothing to do about that case then.

I thought you let the Coucil get away to easy.

I mean, I send them a written complaint, and the offer to meet me

    in a sweaty gym.

I go to the gym to work-out, not to have meetings.

Meetings I think should be held somewhere with less sweat,

endorfines and hormones in the air.

So I thought it was just riddiculus, that you let the Council get

    away.

All I wanted was a reply in writing from them.

Which I think is the norm, if one send a written complaint.

But all this non-sense with the Council suggesting meetings at the Gym,

and you at the Ombudsman letting Liverpool City Council getting away with

    that.

I think that this reminds me of another smell than the one at the

    gym.

All of this smells really, I think.

But I guess it's nothing to do about this.

    Hi,

I had a complaint against Liverpool City Council,

(Lifestyles Gym), that I wanted them to reply to in writing, (back in

    2006!).

You at the Ombudsman said they didn't have to, since

they offered to meet me at the gym.

On 28/5, Lifestyles called me, wanting me to reply to a

    customer survey.

I tried to explain, that I had a complaint against

them, and because of this, didn't want to be part of the survey.

But the person calling didn't speak that good

English, I think I have to say.

So it ended with me having to hang up.

Can't you please tell the Council to reply to my

complaint in writing, so that we get this case over with?

    https://johncons-blogg.net/2010/08/pa-jobcentre-i-england-sa-har-de-noe.html

    Men men.

    Men men).

    PS.

    img218

    PS 4.

    Hun skriver ‘It’.

    Men men.

    Bare noe jeg tenkte på.

Så vi får se hva som skjer.

    Vi får se.

    Mvh.

    Erik Ribsskog

    PS 5.

    PS 6.

Jeg skrev til the University of Sunderland Alumni Association, om det her:

    Hi,

I'm sending an update, after a meeting I had on the Jobcentre, Williamsson Sq., in Liverpool, today.
Because I think that the Jobcentre ignores my IT-education.
(Four years at University-level in Norway, plus the months I studied at the University of Sunderland).

The Jobcentre says that I would have had to have work-experience as an IT Manager, to apply for jobs as an IT Manager.
    But I think that's a bit strange.
Then it's like my years studying are wasted.

I studied in Sunderland, from September 2004 to February 2005, (I had to interrupt my studies, due to problems with my home university, Oslo University College, and Lånekassa, (the Study-loan bank in Norway), which made me lose focus, so I was very delayed with my studies, and found out, that the smartest thing would be to abort that study-year, especially since the university wanted to move me to another flat in the Forge as well, when some of the other students went back to their home-countries, then I would have more delayed jet, due to having to get to know new flat-mates etc. Since I was a lot delayed from before. So then I rather tried to find a job, before my money ran out).

So it's more than three years since I studied in Sunderland.
But I only graduated from my Home University, last year.
Do you think it's ok, if I ask the University for career-adivce then?

Since I think the Jobcentre lacks a bit competence in IT, to asses my skills, and help give me advice on what type of IT-jobs, to apply for.
(Because they don't even know how to write 'IT', they write 'It').

And they just want to have me working in a jewelers-shop, as an assisting manager, or in a shoe-shop, as an assisting manager.
And then I think, that my four and a half years of IT/Information Manager/Computing-studies are wasted.

And I've also been working ten years as a manager, in retail, in one of Norway's biggest companies, Rimi/ICA.
So I think that I also have valuable management/organisation and business-skills.

(I've also gone to business-school, at Upper Secondary-level, and have a National Diploma in Marketing, and also Information Management and Basis Commerce and Office work).
And the first University College I studied at in Norway, NHI, (now NITH); they also had a lot of business-modules, like Marketing, Economy and Management.

So I think could have a top-job, or director job even now.
But still the Jobcentre want's to put me in a shoe-shop, as a supervisor there.
But then I don't think I get to use my experience and qualifications.

But I'm not an expert on job-seeking and career-'stuff'.
So I'm trying to find someone who could help me with this.
Do you think it's ok for me, to contact the University's Career adivce-departement, even if it's a bit more than three years since I studied in Sunderland.

(But I was at Study Abroad, and graduated from my Home University, last year).

Sorry if I'm sending many e-mails!
Thanks in advance for any help!
    Best regards,

    Hi,

thank you very much for the membership-package, that I received in the post today!

I was a student, on the third year, bachelor, Computing, in 2004/05, on study abroad.

But I had some problems, with the study-loan bank, in Norway, but I got a foundation degree, from my home university, last year.
I also have an employement-case, against Bertelsmann Arvato's Microsoft Scandinavian Product Activation, here in Liverpool:

I was wondering if you think you could please ask the Law-department, at the University, if they could please help me with my employment-case, as a pro bono-case, since I can't find any law firms, who can help me.

(I was very badly treated there, and they used illigal management methods, called reinforement there, and more, please see link).
Just something I thought about, when I received your membership-package today.

I'll also forward you a copy of my problems with the University and more, from 2005, which I've recently sent to the Students Union, at the university.
Hope this is alright, and thank you very much, for any help, in advance!

    Hei,

    Mvh.

    Hi,

I'm refering to the e-mail I sent you earlier today, regarding my level 3-degrees.
I'm sending this in two e-mails, to help keep the overview.

I've studied Information Management, at two years, at NHI, (now NITH), which is a private Norwegian University College, in Oslo.
I worked quite a lot, besides these studies, so I lack a couple of subjects, to get a Foundation Degree, from them.

Then I worked as a Shop Manager and more, for many years.
I then got tired of that company, (because I was unfairly treated there, I thought, and I have en employement-case).

Then I started studying at Oslo Univesity College, faculty of engineering, a Bachelor-degree, in IT.
I went there for two years, but then I overheard in Oslo, that I was followed by some 'mafian', so I went to study at the University of Sunderland, to try to get away, since I didn't know who this 'mafian' was.

There, the Norwegian study-loan bank, started messing with me, so I got the study-loan, four months late.
But I got the best grade, on the English-test, for study abroad students, so I didn't have to follow English-classes.

Also I passed two assignments in E-commerce, so I think maybe got a pass in that subject.
But the University of Sunderland, refuse to send me my files, that shows my results, on assigments and on the English-test etc.

But, I have 189 credits in total, from Oslo University College, and NHI (now NITH).
And that's more than the 180 credits, needed to get a Bachelor Degree.
Also I have studied at the University of Sunderland and at the University of Oslo, (who for failed my Examen Philosoficum-examn, for some strange reason, because I think that's the only examn I've ever failed, if I'm not mistaking).

So all in all, I think this should really be like a Bachelors Degree, in IT/Information Management/Computing.
I'm sending scanned copies of my results from Oslo University College, faculty of engineering and from NHI/NITH.

I hope very much that I could please get a Bachelors Degree, from these files.
That would have been very fine, because employers they don't really understand my Norwegian degree, I think.

And neighter does the Jobcentre, they say I'm at level 4, when I'm really at level 6, I think, (or at least at level 5 which Jet Employability Team and the Direct Gov-website says).
I hope you agree with me on this!

Thank you very much for any help in advance!
    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I was at a meeting at Jet Liverpool today, with Mr. Carlos Pineda, Guidance Officer, Adult Learning Service, Ethnic Minority Employability Project.
We agreed, that I'd contact Naric, regarding my degrees from Norway.

I have degrees at both level 3 and level 5/6.
I send about this in different e-mails, first about the level 3 degrees, then I think it's easier to keep the overviev.
I went three years on Upper Secondary Business School, in Norway, from 1986 to 1989.
For all of these three years, I got a 'vitnemål', that's a (school leaving) certificate.
These I think must be at National Diploma-level.
The first year, I graduated in 'Grunnleggende handels og kontorfag', which means 'Basic commerce and office-knowledge'.
The second year, I graduated, in 'Markedføring', that's Marketing.
The third year, I graduated in 'Informasjonsbehandling', that's Information Management.
The third year, I had an optional subject, 'Matematikk', that's Maths, (even if we had an a bit un-structurised teacher, in that subject, I'd say, so I only got a 2, as a grade, but that's still a pass).

So, since I passed in maths, as an optional subject, then I got a qualification, called 'generell studiekompetanse', earlier called 'examen artium', in Norway.

(I think this is what you call A-levels, in the UK).
I didn't get this in writing, from my Upper Secondary School.
But I got matriculated, at the University of Oslo, in 1991.

(Since I had a rest-year, from the Information Management University College, which I studied on then, NHI.

And then I got a job in a shop, to save up money for further full time studies.
And then I wanted to try to use my mind a bit more as well, since I only sat in the check out in the shop, and I was a bit curios about what 'Examen Philosoficum' was, at the University of Oslo, so I studied there.

So the Univeristy of Oslo, can confirm that I have this qualificiation, (I'm sending a copy of their letter), called 'generell studiekompetanse'/'examen artium'/A-levels.
Which that I can study at (Norwegian) universities.

So these three years at Upper Secondary School in Norway, they gave me three certificates/National Diplomas and one academic qualification, (examen artium/generell studiekompetanse).
So I was wondering it I could then please get these transfered to English degrees/qualifications.

Because I'm not sure that e.g. the Jobcentre, understand my Norwegian degrees/qualification.

(It would then be three National Diplomas I'd guess:

    – One in Basic Commerce and Office-knowledge/work.

    – One in Marketing.
    – One in Information Management.
    – And also an academic qualification, that means I can study at unversities, (A-levels?).
I hope you have the chance to look at this!
Thank you very much in advance, for any help!
I'm also going to send you another e-mail, about my level 5/6 qualifications/degrees/grades.

But I send two different e-mails, about this, since I think it helps with keeping the overview, regarding this.
    Hopes this is alright!
I enclose scanned copies of the three certificates, and the letter from the University of Oslo, regarding the academic qualification, 'generell studiekompetanse'/A-levels(?).

    Best regards,
    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

I was at Jet job-bank today, and spoke with Mr. Carlos Pineda, Guidance Officer, Adult Learning Service, Ethnic Minority Employabilitiy Project.
    We discussed my complaint.

And I explained that the Jobcentre gave me grief, because they say that my degree from Norway, is at level 4, while Jet and Direct Gov say it's at level 5.
So we agreed I'd contact Naric, about this, (and to see if my grades from two University Colleges in Norway are enough to get a Bachelor Degree, etc).

I appolised for that I think I perhaps over-reacted a bit in my compaint.
It's just that I'm a bit stressed from being un-employed, and the Jobcentre are giving me a bit grief regarding this and other issues.

So we agreed that this complaint was now solved, with the new information I got the meeting today.
Thank you very much for your help with finding out which level my degrees from Norway are!

    To: Jet@liverpool.gov.uk

    Hi,

I was sent by Gill, from JET in Walton, to Jet employability team, last month.

They didn't want to transfer my degree, to a UK degree, so I now strugle, when I apply for work, and the Jobcentre says I'm at level 4, when I'm really at level 5 or 6.

I think I really have a level 6, (bachelor), degree.
But Jet Employability Team, didn't want to look at my files thorowly, but were almost hostile, I think, (maybe because I'm white, since all of the people in that office were coloured).

And they didn't want to transfer my degrees from Upper Secondary School eighter.
They only wanted to look at one file, and that was it.
But I also have a file from another University College, where I almost got a degree.

    So I think this really-really is like a Bachelor-degree.

But I don't think the person at Jet employability team, seemed qualified to judge this.

It seemed like he had enough with finding Norway on the screen.

Is it any way I could get this looked at properly?
    Best regards,

    Hi,

sorry that I'm sending this many e-mails.

But you see, I'm from Norway, so I'm not used with 'fancy' sections on the CV, called things like 'Personal Profile', and 'Skills'.

So it could be that I get my CV a bit wrong now.
And the Jobcentre, Working Links etc., they tell me things like to have those sections, and that the CV shouldn't be more than two pages, and to only write work-experience from the last 10-15 years.

So I've changed the CV a lot of times now.
But I think it's maybe best for me, to just have a very basic style of CV, like I've learned in Norway.
Since CV really means Curriculum Vitea, which means a description of how one have lived ones life.

    As far as I understand.
So really, I'm not sure if the 'fancy' sections should be on the CV, originally.
And to cut out pieses of one's work-experience, on one's CV, isn't really true to the original nature of a CV, which means a descripiton of what one have done, in one's life.

So I think the Jobcentre, and Working-links are a bit silly, perhaps.
But you have given me valueable feed-back.
Thank you very much for the feed-back!

    Hi,

I read about this vacancy, on the Jobcentre Plus website.

I have a degree from Norway, in IT, from 2009, which is comparable with a Higher National Diploma, here in the UK, and I've also studied Information Management, at university-level in Norway, for two years, in addition to this.

I also have degrees from Upper Secondary Business-school, in Norway, in Basic Commerce and Office-work, Marketing and Information Management, which are comparable with National Diplomas here.

I've also worked as a manager, in Norway, for ten years, in one of Norways biggest food shop-chains, Rimi, (owned by ICA), so I'm used with working with management and customer support.

I attach my CV, and hope to hear back from you!

    Yours sincerely,
