Mvh. Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,
you adviced me to look for courses on Hugh Baird college.

I was there yesterday to enrol.
I’m now enrolled for a CAD-course. I found this course on the college web-site.

I didn’t find a Dreamweaver-course, but has had problems with Liverpool Community College earlier, so thought I’d try this college now.
I thought I could ask them in the interview about a Dreamweaver-course.

(Like I mentioned in our meeting at Aintree jobcentre).

But I didn’t get a letter about an interview. I only got a phone-call about enrolment.

(Even if it said on the college web-site that I was going to get a letter for an interview within ten days.

When I applied for this course on their website).
You mentioned founding in the meeting.
Personal Advisor Sarah from Aintree jobcentre told me to bring my sign-on-card, to the college.

And the college asked for this.

And they are possibly going to contact the Jobcentre about founding. This is how it seems to me, but I haven’t got anything in writing about this.
But a woman at the college eating crips while professor Aitken dragged me around there said it wasn’t a problem that I was unemployed I think.

    Something like this.

    I think it’s a bit odd you haven’t replied to my e-mail, from 1/8.
And that I didn’t get a letter about an interview.

And that the college-woman, (Ellis), went on holiday without replying to my e-mails.
But I guess this is how it is, since this is a college, (and not a university).

Personal Advisor Sarah also mentioned that the jobcentre could get founding.
Then I answered that you also mentioned founding. Any way this course isn’t that expensive so I could found it myself by paying like £10 a month.

So there are many options here it seems.
It’s perhaps a bit strange that Personal Advisor Sarah was eager founding this course when this normally is NCS?

Also, I’ve had one group session with NCS.

One CV-work-shop at the job-fair, (this was really not a NCS-meeting, Personal Advisor Sarah said I was at the job-fair to look at the stands there. NCS perhaps thinks differently?).

And then it was one meeting that I was late for, because I had two meetings that day, at Aintree jobcentre, and mixed the the times up.

And then we had that meeting again. So I’ve had one NCS group-session and one face to face-meetings, (two if we count the meeting I missed), and the CV workshop at the jobfair was changed to a face to face meeting with Sue due to low attandance.

So I’m not sure if you mean that the job-fair-meeting was a face-to-face meeting, which you count as one of my three yearly face-to-face meetings? Regards, Erik Ribsskog

    Hi again,
what I really discussed with NCS was a course in Dreamweaver, by the way.

But I couldn’t find that course on your website, when I did the research. Do you know if you also have this course?
Perhaps I could take two courses at the same time.

If this is ok with the Jobcentre-rules.

Or else I could discuss this in the mentioned interview.

    Best regards, Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,
thank you for your e-mail! I sent an application now, from your website. It says I’ll get a letter for an interview within ten days time. I also send a copy of this e-mail to Pamela Woods at NCS and to the Jobcentre, (which I hope they can send to Personal Advisor Sarah, at Aintree Jobcentre).

Since NCS and Personal Advisor Sarah at Aintree Jobcentre have mentioned that they can possibly help with founding a course to update my IT-skills. Thanks again for the e-mail. Best regards,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hello Erik,

Thank you for your enquiry. The course that you mention is the 2D Computer Aided Design course. This will run again this September, studying one evening per

    Hi,

I’ve had a meeting with NCS and have agreed with them to try to find a course to update my IT-skills, as part of my career-plan.

I found a part-time course named ‘Award in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing’ on your web-site:

But this course has already finished, (in June, this year).

I was wondering if this course is going to start again, in September, this year? Thanks in advance for informing me about this! Yours sincerely, Erik Ribsskog

Hi again, and I also remember now. You wanted to know what I learned at the meeting, with Enterprising
Merseyside, some weeks ago. And I explained that they told me that business that are successfull,
are special. Then you asked me how I could make my business more special. And I said perhaps make it more British. But then you coach me, I think. And this is on my spare-time. And I take this with Enterprising Merseyside, if I need coaching. I think it’s a bit silly if I get coaching about this business, from
both you and Enterprising Merseyside, at the same time. Which we could risk here. So I think we should leave the details about how I run my web-shop out
of the meetings. After I contacted Enterprising Merseyside. So you can just forget about what I said about making the web-shop more British. That wasn’t something bombastic, that I have decided. That was just something that I was pondering about. And which I replied to you, to not be inpolite, and not answer. So just forget about the web-shop. If that’s ok. Because I really get advice from Enterprising Merseyside about it, if
I need advice. It just complicates it if you also wants to coach/give advice about
this spare-time-webshop. And my main focus is anyway the job-seeking. So we shouldn’t get distracted from that, I think. Just something I thought about now. Best regards, Erik Ribsskog

Hi, I just thought I’d send an e-mail regarding yesterdays meeting while I
remember it. When I was unemployed in Sunderland, in 2011, Anita Ford there said it
was ‘insane’ to apply for more than two jobs a week. But you want me to apply for like ten jobs a day, (or something), it seems. (Even if there aren’t that many jobs around, I think). So I’m now not sure what the norm is, for number of jobs to apply for, each day. Also, you told me I can’t apply for jobs in Leyland and Chorley. But this is because I try to apply for one job a day. Because that’s my goal, from the jobseekers agreement. (Even if this is more than they think is normal, in Sunderland, they told me). I think when it says 90 minutes travel-time in the jobseekers-agreement. Then it’s meant that I’m obligated to look for work within 90 minutes
travel-time. It doesn’t mean I’m restricted to only apply for work within 90
minutes travel-time. (Also the trains to Leyland sometimes only use about an hour, I saw on
the internet. And I set the Universal Jobmatch to look for jobs, in a 20 mile radius. It doesn’t have a 15 mile radius option. Only a 10 mile one. And then it doesn’t find the jobs in Chester and Manchester, I think). It seemed like you meant that I wasn’t allowed to apply for jobs in Leyland. (In the meeting yesterday). That there is some kind of rule forbidding me to do this. Surely there is no restriction like that? Just something I wondered about. Also TK Maxx is American, I checked it on the internet. And you wondered if a bus goes to the Aintree mall. After I explained that I went with Merseyrail there, when I went to
the Maplin-store, near Aintree racecourse-ground. I checked on the map now, and it’s just a couple of kilometers from
the Jobcentre, so it’s possible to walk there as well. And I know there is a bus that goes to the Jobcentre in Aintree, (at
least), from Walton, so that shouldn’t be a problem. You wanted me to tell the college that I’m unemployed, in the
interview with them. But in the last meeting you mentioned possible founding, from the jobcentre. This you didn’t mention in yesterdays meeting, I noticed. So you have changed your mind about founding for the CAD-course? Also, you asked me if the weather was ‘clammy’ yesterday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2644210 It says the humidity is 87 percent today, (if that’s what you meant). Just in case I forgot about this. Since you’re going on a holiday, and the next appointment is in September. Best regards, Erik Ribsskog

siste to år.
Før Al Quaida tar over hele vesten her. Eller hvem det er som tuller. Erik Ribsskog

Hi, I read about this vacancy on the Direct Gov-website, and I wanted to
please apply for this job. I have designed a lot of websites, (see CV for online portifolio),
since the late nineties, using HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and SVG. I also have knowledge about Photoshop, after registering an online
account, for that programme, last year. I’ve also studied at an academy in Norway named NHI, which focused a
lot on usability, so I’m used with having usability in mind when
working with e.g. Web Design. I attach my CV and hope to hear back from you! Yours sincerely, Erik Ribsskog
