Jeg hadde et jobbintervju, for en butikksjef-jobb, med en kar som het Tony, fra Hull, i Yorkshire, som var Sales Manager, for hele Storbritannia, for Heron Foods da.
Så sånn var det.
Han spurte om jeg hadde funnet noen feil i butikken, mens jeg ventet.
Og det hadde jeg.
Potetene stod i noen fruktkasser, rett på gulvet.
Og mat skal egentlig ikke stå rett på gulvet, men man må ha noen tomkasser, eller noe, under, lærte vi i Rimi.
(Ellers så kunne Næringsmiddeltilsynet klage, i Norge, for det kan være uhygienisk, i tilfelle noe slags såpe, fra vaskerne, eller noen andre slags forurensende væsker, kunne ha rent på spisevarene da).
Og de hadde også et ark, som var teipet på en av frysediskene, hvor det stod at alle som åpnet en kartong, med SFC kyllingnuggets, ville bli ‘made to pay for them’, eller noe.
Altså, at alle som åpna en kartong, med kyllingnuggets, de ville bli tvunget til å betale for dem.
Jeg syntes at den plakaten virka litt kunde-uvennlig da.
Dessuten, så var det en del feil på plasseringen av noen labler, (prismerkingen i hyllene), som jeg så, men det var kanskje vanskelig å unngå, at det noen ganger blir litt feil med lablene, sa jeg også i det møtet.
Vi gikk gjennom min arbeidshistorie, og jeg fortalte at jeg hadde jobbet med kundeservice, i Storbritannia, og også med varehandel, i mange år i Norge.
Og at jeg hadde jobbet som butikksjef, i lignende butikker, i Norge, nemlig i Rimi da.
Selv om Rimi også hadde frukt og grønt, (noe Heron Foods ikke har så mye av).
(Rimi hadde også flaskebord og Tipping og noen ganger Post osv., men det nevnte jeg ikke noe om, selv om jeg var nære på å gjøre det).
Så sånn var det.
Det ble vel sagt mere og.
Lønnen var på £20.000 i året cirka pluss bonus.
Så det er ikke så galt det, tror jeg, her i England, hvor prisene på mat osv., er ganske lave.
Og prisene for å leie bolig er vel lavere enn i Oslo og, for eksempel.
Så med den lønnen, så skulle jeg nok klart meg bra.
Så sånn er nok det.
De hadde en assistent, en salgsmedarbeider heltid, (som begge kunne låse og åpne butikken da).
Og fire deltidsansatte, (i kassa da antagelig).
Men men, vi får se om jeg hører noe fra dem.
De hadde hatt visst hatt 15 søkere innom der idag, så at jeg skal få den jobben, i konkurranse med 14 briter, det skal kanskje litt til.
Men men, jeg kom meg ihverfall så langt som til et jobbintervju.
Så da er det vel ihvertfall håp, mener jeg.
Så sånn er nok det.
Så vi får se hva som skjer.

Jobseekers Allowance again.I've called that number twice now, but they don't reply.I almost have no money, so I need to get my Jobseekers Allowance
