    COMPLAINT

In May, last year, I bought some strange tins with Minced meat & onion, from your

Lidl store, off London Rd., in Liverpool.

I had quite recently started in a new job then, and I was a bit stressed with the new

work, so I made the dish, and ate it, even if really tasted very strange.

I had bought the dish earlier, and I can’t remember that I thought it tasted strange then.

On 31/5, I think it must have been, I found something that looked like a few milimeters

piece of a vain or an artery.

But I don’t think it could have been from a cow, because then I think it would have had

a larger radius on the vain/artery.

Later, I’ve been wondering about if it was something strange with the Minced meat &

onion reduced price campaign, or not.

I’ve been working for many years in different food-stores myself, mostly in the Rimi

    food-store chain, in Norway.

And I remember from Rimi, when I worked as a store-manager, that we had allocated

places for where the different campaigns were to be placed.

And my impression, is that the Lidl-stores are very structured and organises.

And that the reduced price campaigns should be the same in all the different Lidl-stores.

But this, the tined Minced meat & onion, reduced price, from 59 pence to 46 pence

campaign, it was placed almost in the middle of the hall-way, were there is supposed to

be room for the trolleys to be pushed etc.

So I was wondering if this could have been some kind of unautorised campaign, and if you

think someone could have some kind of ‘fishy’ stuff in the Minced meat and onion tins?

So I would appriciate it very much, if you could have a look at this, and check if it could

have been some kind of unautoised campaign, and what the funny stuff in the tins could

    have been.

I’m going to enclose a copy of the receipt where I’ve drawn on the receipt in paint, to

    mark the specific product.

And I’ve also written a drawing in paint, explaining how the reduced price tined Minced

meat and onion campaign was placed in the hall-way, since I thought this placement

    was maybe a bit strange.

So I hope very much that you have the chance to investigate this!

Thank you very much for your help in advance!

    Yours sincerely,

    Hei,

    Men men.

få ha gratis parkeringsplasser i kjelleren.

like før jeg dro for å studere i Sunderland?

    Mvh.

  • Doubt surrounding the ‘pizza-meat’ binding-agent

The neutrality of this section is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page.
In a thread on the Norwegian TV2 Nettavisen administered message-board Veggavisen, some doubt regarding which binding-agent that is being used in the ‘pizza-meat’ mixture[4], on the original Grandiosa, was put forward.[5] One of the webpages on the Stabburet website states that the binding-agent being used is soy protein[6], while another states that the binding-agent being used is gelatin based on swine.[7] In an 1997 article from the online editon of the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet, the Factory Director, Ivar Moss, is being referred to as saying, with the Information Director in Orkla Foods, Håkon Mageli present, that they have recently switched the binding-agent from soy protein to gelatin.[8] On the Grandiosa boxes, it’s saying, that the binding-agent being used is soy protein.[9][10][11]

Pizzas produced on the Grandiosa pizza-factory in Stranda, not being sold in Sweden

The neutrality of this section is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page.
In the same thread on the Veggavisen message-board, as referred to in last section, a small paradox regarding the fact that the extremely popular Norwegian Italian-style Orkla Group Stabburet Grandiosa pizzas[12] aren’t being sold in Sweden, even if the far less popular Norwegian American-style Orkla Group Stabburet Big One pizzas[13] are. (Under the product-name ‘Grandiosa Pan Pizza’, and the Orkla Group producer-label ‘Procordia Food’).[14], was uncovered.[15]
In Sweden, only “Grandiosa”-pizzas produced on the Orkla Group Procordia Food pizzafactory in Vansbro in Dalarna in Sweden[16], and on the Orkla Group Stabburet Big One pizzafactory in Stranda in Norway, are being sold.[17]
In the rural WestNorwegian municipality of Stranda, in the traditional district of Sunnmøre, in Møre og Romsdal, there are actually two Orkla Group Stabburet pizzafactories. One Big One-factory, and one Grandiosa-factory.[18]
The American-style pizzas produced on the Big One-factory, are being sold as ‘Big One’ pizzas in Norway[19], and as ‘Grandiosa Pan Pizza’ in Sweden and Finland.[20][21]
The Italian-style pizzas produced on the Grandiosa-factory are being sold as ‘Grandiosa’ pizzas in Norway[22], and as ‘Grandiosa’ pizzas of the category ‘Perhepizzat’, family-pizzas, in Finland.[23]

    Hi,

I’ve been buying some food products from Iceland, by Williamson Sq. in Liverpool, which I am
    a bit suspicious about.
The first product is the 500g. Beef trimmings (with cracked black pepper etc.) from Hurswood Int.
    CH45 0JZ., Price: £1.75.

It doesn’t really look or taste anything like eg. the 130g. Tesco Roast beef, which sells at
    approxematly the same price.
I’ve also been working in the meat and fish deparment, in a big supermarket in Norway,
OBS Triaden, in Lørenskog, right outside Oslo.
And there we used to slice meet, like ham, roast beef, etc, etc.

And I can’t remember any of the trimmings looking anything like the 500g. Beef trimming product
    from Hurswood Int.

And I didn’t really think it tasted anything like roast beef.
And I was wondering why one would have all the cracked black pepper on the beef slices.

The trimmings we sold, where without seasoning, because the trimmings really have the same taste
as the regular slices, they are just like a bit irregular shaped.
And the beef-trimmings in the 500g. box with beef-trimmings from Hurswood Int., didn’t really look
like trimmings to me, they looked like more or less regular shaped slices, they just seemed to
be cut in a bit to thin slices maybe, and just put in a box, and not presented/stabled well, like
eg. the 130 g. Roast beef slices from Tesco are.

And another product I was wondering about, is the Iceland 4 hot & spicy chicken breasteaks,
380 g., Price £1, produced and packed in Thailand.

I don’t really think this chicken taste or look or have the texture like chickenbreast usually have.

So I was wondering if this product really is made of chickenbreast, since I don’t really think it
tastes or feels or looks like chicken.

So I was wondering a bit, if maybe someone should have a look at these products, and see
if what they really contain is the same as it says on the box(?)

Also I was wondering a bit about the 185g. Iceland Ready Cooked sliced chicken plain strips, £1.
Produce of Brazil or Thailand. Packed in the Republic of Ireland for Iceland Foods Ltd.

Isn’t it a bit strange that the meat is from Brazil or Thailand?

I think that sounds a bit strange.
But it’s probably me that wonders to much about different things.

But I think that it’s a bit strange that these products can be so inexpensive, compared to other,
similar products at eg. Tesco or Marks and Spencers etc, where they cost up to maybe 3 or 4 times as
    much.

I mean, when the chicken is sent from eighter Thailand or Brazil, then it could seem a bit strange that it
doesn’t cost more than £1 for four chicken breaststeaks, 380 g., or for 185 g. coocked chicken filet,
    plain strips.
So I was wondering if maybe someone should have a look at these products, and the production-process,
to check that’s everything is in order?

I know there are some frozen pizza products in Norway (Grandiosa), that are very popular, but seems to
contain some meat-mixture that’s seems to made from something that made the Swedish food-autoroties
    forbid it.

So that has made me a bit vary of food that is a bit suspiciously in-expensive.

    So that’s why I’m writing this e-mail.

Because I’m a bit worried about what’s in some of the in-expensive food products.
So that’s why I’m writing this e-mail, so that you can reasure me that I’m wrong about wondering about this,
and that you can reasure me that there’s nothing wrong with these, the mentioned products.

Here is a link by the way, to an entry on my blog, which I wrote earlier this month, regarding the mentioned beef
    trimmings and chicken breaststeaks, etc:

    https://johncons-blogg.net/2008/01/products-in-iceland-shops.html
So I hope you have the oppertunity to help me with this, and thank you very much for your answer in advance!

    Yours sincerely,
    Erik Ribsskog

  • I was at Currys in Church St. today, and it seemed like the staff and customers acted phoney, like in some sort of set-up.

Two of the customers, dressed in those types of wests, that all British workers, who work outside are wearing, asked me, or rather, one of them asked me, if it was alright that they went before me in the queue.

And then I said somethink like that’s alright, no problem.

And then the guy answered, ‘are you sure?’.

I thought that was a bit strange thing to ask.

And then it was some problem with the bank card reader.

And then some Curry representative, I think it was, almost collided with me, when I went out of the shop, and let me go first out.

But I’m not sure if he actually went out.

Right on the outside of the shop, it was another guy with a similar west like the two customers at Currys.

He held a 50 p coin, and asked me something like if I could change it to a 20 p coin.

And then after I told him that I couldn’t, then it seemed like he went over to two mates that were standing outside of Currys, on the left side of the enterance-door, when one goes out of the shop.

So I’m going to send Currys a complaint, since I think this must have been a set up.

A bit similar with the ones at Tesco, Burger King, McDonalds, Argos, Spar etc., possibly.

I wonder if this is possibly this, ‘the game’, which I overheard two people talking about, walking from the bus stop after work, when I lived in Walton a couple of years ago.

Something that the underworld plays, is it?

And the Police also seems to be playing.

So I’m not really sure if it’s only the underworld, I’m not so into this stuff.

But it seems to me that the police also enjoy playing.

But I think than they are all a bit impolite, because that if one want to play, then I guess that’s allright.

But I think it’s maybe a bit impolite, to play games with people, who doesn’t really want to play phoney games.

It seemed like some people around me were a bit nervous, since I bought stamps for letters to be sent to the US.

I thought I picked up that they were worried that I was going to send all my files to the Americans, or the Yanks, or what they are called.

So I’m not really sure if it’s only the Brits who are playing, it’s seemes like maybe the Norwegian police are playing as well.

I remember from living at my uncles farm in Kvelde in Norway, in 2005, that I overheard, my uncles neighbour Thor, telling my uncle that, ‘they always find a reason’.

I think they were talking about something regarding me.

And I’m wondering if this also could be a reference to this, ‘the game’-stuff.

But it could also be something else.

Maybe it’s the police that are playing.

Or maybe it’s the underworld that’s playing.

    Or maybe it’s both.

And maybe some normal people are playing as well?

I’m not really sure, but I thought I could write about this on the blog, but I guess this is maybe well known already, even if it isn’t easy for me tell what other people know, since neighter the Police or anyone else has leveled with me.

So I guess this is probably easier for other people to know.

    Hi,

I was just wondering how I should go forward to report threats and harassment on the Norwegian Wikipedia-site?

There has also been problems on the English Wikipedia-site, which seems to be connected in some way, with the
    problems on the Norwegian site.

So I was just wondering how I should go forward with formally reporting about this.

Thank you very much in advance for your reply!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer!

Yes that’s right, I’ll try to summarise some of the things that has been going on:

    – In December 03, in Bjørndal, in Oslo, Norway, I overheard that I was followed by ‘the mafia’.

    – In July 05, I was chased away from my uncles farm in Kvelde, outside of Larvik in Norway, by people
    with dogs and guns.

    – And I’ve also been chased by what seems to be mafia in France, Germany and Holland etc, in 2005.

    – And in Liverpool, in 05 and 06, I’ve been working in a company, Arvato, which seems to have been
infiltrated by a criminal network, and there were problems with illigal management methods and
    organised harassment etc.

    – And in my home, in Liverpool, now last month, I’m getting visits by ‘phoney’ inspectors from the
water-company, who are saying that they want to inspect the water-meter, even if my flat hasn’t got
    a water-meter installed.
And the inspector was also looking in the boiler-room and the electricity-cabinet, for the water-meter.

And then I called United Utilities, and they say that their representatives never inspect the electricity-
    cabinet.

So theres obviously something ‘phoney’ going on.
And I’m also worried about what has happened with some of my former collegues at Arvato, who I think
can have been victims for trafficing, prostitution etc., possibly organised from within the company.

So these are some of the things that has been going on.
There have also been more things, but there have been so many things going on, that’s it hard to focus
and summarise it all, I’m sorry I’m a bit overworked.

The problem, is that I’ve been contacting the police in both Norway and Britain, and they don’t want to
give me any advice or information, or any help at all, even if it’s clear that I’m having problems with
being followed/chased by criminal networks etc.
And the incident with the ‘phoney’ water-company inspector, I think, must be someone from the Government,
like police or intelligence, and I also get ‘phoney’ people contacting me on my facebook-page, which also
seems something from like the police.

So it’s obvious that the governments in both Norway and Britain are spying on me.
And they don’t want to tell me what’s going on, they’re keeping me uninformed.

And I think this is like torture, because I’ve heard and seen that I’m being followed by mafia and I understand that I’m
being spyed on by the government, and I’m worried about some of my former collegues at Aravto, who I havn’t heard
from in more than a year, and whom someone seems to have been making ‘phoney’ facebook pages in the name of.

So this is more or less driving me insane.
I’ve been smashing up the houshold-equipment, and I’ve considered killing myself and/or the police, since it’s making
me go insane, that they won’t tell me anything, even if it’s more than a year ago, that I sent the e-mails from Arvato,
to the press, explaining that there were some organised harassment etc., going on there.
But the British police just pretends that there has been nothing going on.
Like the Norwegian police are doing, they aren’t even answering my e-mails or phone-calls, when I try to contact them,
regarding the how to deal with the situation, with that I’ve overheard, and seen, that I’m being followed by mafia, and that
I was chased from uncles farm in 2005, and around Europe, also the same year.

So I have been thinking that it is one’s right to get information from the police about what’s going on, when oneself are
    involved in a case.

And also, that one have the right to ask for advice on how to deal with haveing problems with criminal networks etc.
But the police refuse to tell me anything, they won’t give me any information or advice, and this has been going on since
December 2003, in Norway, and then from 2004/2005 in Britain.

So I think I have the right to get some information and advice, before I loose my mind completly here.

But the police in both countries don’t seem to think that.
So that’s why I’m trying to contact you, because I was wondering if you by any chance, have some information, regarding,
if it isn’t my right to get information and advice from the police in situations like this, when one are almost going insane,
since one don’t know what’s going on?

Also, I’ve been contacting the Norwegian department of Amnesty International, but they are only harassing me, and
pretending to not understand what I mean, so I thought it would maybe be right to complain about the department,
since I think that they should know how to answer enquieries like that, without any lying or harassment.
So I hope very much that you have the chance to have a look at this.
I’m sorry that I’ve been using a bit of time to reply, but I havn’t got much founds, so I have to work a lot of overtime etc.,
so I’ve had to use a lot of time at work.

But I hope this is alright!
    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog

    Dear Mr Ribsskog

I apologise for the delay in responding to your email.

I am not sure I understand from your email if you contacted Amnesty International’s offices in the UK and Norway – is that the case? Have you contacted the police about the concerns that you say you have?

I do not think that Amnesty International is able to answer your question and that you may be better placed addressing your concerns to the police. If I have misunderstood you, please let me know.

    Hi,

I’m a Norwegian Citizen living in the UK.

I’ve been in contact with your Norwegian department, and also your British department.

I was wondering about two things.

I was told by your British Department, that the International Department, might be able to
help me with some problems regarding not getting help from the Norwegian and British
Governments, while being followed by criminal networks, in a case thats also seems to
be linked with trafficing of Scandinavian women to Liverpool and Spain, and illigal
management methods and serious organised harassment and more, I’d call it that
people were being used more or less like slaves.

(And I have dokumentation to support all of this).

That was the first thing I was wondering about, who should I contact, if I was wondering
if you maybe had the oppertunity to have a look at this?

Secondly, it seems a bit to me, that I maybe was harassed, when I was in contact with
your Norwegian department, who weren’t able to give me any help or advice, but who
I think it might seem like were harassing me in their reply.

And also, they seemed to have misunderstood the meaning of the e-mail I was sending them.

Which I think was maybe a bit strange, since it seems reasonable to me, to presume that
they work with human rights issues, on a daily basis.

So that for them to not understand an e-mail, which I myself thought should be straight
forward for representatives working with human rights issues, on a daily basis, to
    understand.

So I was wondering, regarding this problem, because I think matters like this should be
    dealt with responsably.

And I’ve heard many good things about your organisation, and I thought your British/UK
department, also gave me good advice, so I don’t mean to complain, but I’m a bit
worried about the quality of the advice from the mentioned department in Oslo.

And also, they didn’t reply to my next e-mail, when I tryed to explain again, in case
they had maybe misunderstood what I meant.

So I thought this was a bit curious.

So I was wondering, who I should contact, if I wanted to make a complaint about my
contact with the deparment in Oslo.

I’ll send more documents, to explain more about the issues I’m mentioning in this
e-mail, as soon as possible, when I know more about who it is I should contact
    regarding these issues.

And please just contact me, if there is some I have forgotten to explain about regarding
    these questions.

I hope that this is alright!

And thank you very much for your help in advance!

    Yours sincerely,

    Erik Ribsskog
